4 months agoI wholeheartedly recommend Tree Artisans. I've had Jack to my house a couple of times, and each time he has been timely, thoughtful, educational, and just a genuinely nice guy to work with. He doesn't oversell or over diagnose, where I am sure he could get away with it, given his expertise. If you are having any troubles with your trees, give him a call. -

1 year agoTrimmed tree branches over our hot tub and damaged the cover on it. Derek mansplained to my wife over the phone his opinion of the matter without coming out to look, then when forced to come out to look by his boss did the same thing to my mother in law. They've made no offer to even partially help fix their mistake. This was the third time we've used them and previously they were great (hence the second star) but won't support their business anymore. -

1 year agoNovember 2024 Update: We hired Tree Artisans a third time (maybe we have too many trees...) and their service remains as awesome and comprehensive as it was when I first hired them more than five years ago. Company culture and values must be stringent to have achieved this level of consistency over time! Taylor and Barry hung out in our trees all day and did a fantastic job pruning, removing dangerous limbs, and providing exceptional cleanup and haul-away afterwards. Very friendly guys happy to explain everything they were doing and why. Will definitely hire Tree Artisans a fourth time when the time inevitably comes! Original review: I've hired Tree Artisans twice in the last five years and have been very pleased with their timeliness, professionalism, and competitive pricing. They clean up the sidewalk/street daily after they're done, which my neighbors appreciated. We hired them for a two day job that required removal of several large trees, including a 45 foot cottonwood, without damaging any surrounding structures. They also removed old stumps, dead shrubs, small trees, and a woodpile. We can't even tell there used to be trees and stumps in the areas they cleared. Office staff is friendly and prompt, as well, and they accept credit card payments with no up charge. Great job overall, will continue hiring Tree Artisans for our tree maintenance needs -

1 year agoTree Artisans did a great job... I had a bit of an urgent need - I needed a new well pump (we had no running water) and tree branches above the well needed trimming so the 40' boom on the well truck could get in where it needed to be (under the tree). Tree Artisans adapted their schedule to get to us first thing the next day. Taylor and his crew were in and out... on time, efficient and neat. Thank you all! -

1 year agoGreat Customer service via email and came when expected. But at the time of the estimate I interviewed to make sure they knew how to properly trim trees and not just a chop job and they said yes. So I expected proper equipment and job done within arborist standards. Nope. Chop chop. A couple of branches that could of been cut at the crown instead were cut with a manual saw out a foot or two on multiple smaller branches. It took longer and only encourage new growth and looks chop chop. At least for now the goal of away from the roof was satisfied. But they do not know proper pruning techniques, at all. ...ps call master gardeners at the county exchange tree artisans, they will send you a fact sheet on how to prune.

FAQ
How does Tree Artisans determine pricing for tree services?
We provide free, no-obligation estimates based on the specific details of your project. Pricing depends on several factors including the size and location of the tree, the complexity of the work, and the equipment needed. During an on-site consultation, we'll assess your trees and explain exactly what's involved so you understand the scope and cost before we begin any work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Tree Artisans is fully licensed and insured, which protects both you and our crew while we work on your property. When hiring any tree service, it's important to verify insurance coverage and ask about the company's qualifications and experience in the industry. We're happy to provide documentation of our credentials and answer any questions about our safety practices.
Does Tree Artisans handle emergency tree removal and hazardous situations?
Yes, we specialize in hazardous tree removals and can respond to urgent situations where branches threaten structures or access. Whether you need a dangerous tree taken down, branches cleared for equipment access, or a fallen tree removed quickly, our team has the expertise and equipment to handle it safely. Contact us directly to discuss your emergency needs.
How long does it typically take to complete tree work on my property?
Tree Artisans schedules work based on project complexity, seasonal demand, and weather conditions. Once you approve the estimate, we'll provide you with a tentative timeline and keep you informed of any changes. You don't need to be present during the work-we'll protect your property and leave it in excellent condition when we're done.
What happens to the wood and debris after Tree Artisans removes or prunes my trees?
We handle cleanup as part of our service, removing debris and leaving your yard neat and safe. Depending on your preference, we can haul away all wood, cut it into manageable pieces for firewood, or chip branches for mulch. Our goal is to restore your property to better condition than when we arrived, so you don't have to worry about cleanup.
Why is professional tree pruning better than doing it myself?
Professional arborists have specialized training in tree biology, risk assessment, and proper pruning techniques that maximize tree health and safety. Incorrect pruning can damage trees, create hazards, or lead to disease and pest problems. We understand how to balance your aesthetic goals with your tree's long-term nutritional needs, using methods that promote growth and structural integrity while keeping your property safe.
