2 months agoThis experience has been completely unacceptable. After carpet installation by this company, we discovered nails and staples left improperly installed beneath the carpet, only becoming apparent when stepped on. These fasteners were not visible to the naked eye and were located at random spots on the floor and stairs. As a result, my children suffered injuries to their feet, including bleeding, simply from walking in our home. We have photographic evidence of the injuries. This is not a minor issue or a cosmetic defect. This is a serious safety hazard caused by improper installation. Hidden sharp fasteners under new carpet should never happen in a professionally installed home. What followed was just as troubling as the hazard itself: * Multiple phone calls were ignored * Text messages were ignored * Our realtor contacted the company on our behalf and was also ignored Despite knowing that children were injured, no one from the company contacted us. The owner made no attempt to inspect the work, communicate, or take responsibility. Without speaking to us at all, the company quietly deducted $2,000 from our bill. While that suggests they were aware there was a problem, it does not address the safety issue or replace accountability. We were never asked what happened, never consulted, and never given a chance to resolve this properly. Even after posting a review with photos documenting the injuries, the company still did not respond. Mistakes can happen. Leaving hidden nails and staples beneath carpet and then refusing all communication when children are injured is not acceptable. If you value safety, accountability, and communication - especially if you have children - I strongly recommend choosing a different company. -

3 months agoI cannot recommend this company under any circumstances. They breached contract, entered my property without authorization, lied about their prior communications with me, and declined to take responsibility for their actions. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation reasonably given that their conduct resulted in significant financial loss and immense stress, Russ was dismissive, unprofessional and rude, directly contradicting information previously provided by Renee, who had been courteous and open to discussion. Carpet Planet has now refused to acknowledge or address their wrongdoing. DO NOT GO HERE! Edited to address the owner's comments: 1) Was our agreement for you to enter my home without my permission on a day that I did not approve and never spoke to you about? No it was for me to update you when I would be available for you to do the service. I did not give you permission to proceed. This is all in writing. 2) You did lie about communications with me. I would love for you to pull the phone records to prove that I did not contact you or speak with anyone at your facility to give permission for you to enter my home. 3) The steps I outlined in my review are absolutely accurate. I told you I would determine a date, your team lied about me being in contact, you trespassed onto my property, performed a service without my permission, cost me thousands of dollars and stress, refused to take responsibility, were rude and disrespectful, and still cannot admit that you were in the wrong. See you in court! -

They literally re-floored our entire with LVP and we love it. The Technician/install Team of Diego, Efrain, and Fernando did an outstanding job with the installation. I highly recommend this company!
