5 months agoDani* was cool, had that lax, carefree attitude that makes the whole process feel smoother. Truly a great millennial she is. And you can't forget about Anthony. Quick, Kind, and Helpful. A great example of good service. And as much as I would never want to have to call you guys ever again, Bugs Towing has my heart...and my money. Love y'all -

5 months agoWas in a serious wreck clearly caused by a reckless driver and they were charged as such. Police called this company to tow my vehicle and assured me and the driver also assured me that I wouldnt need to pay anything to get my stuff out of my car and it would be charged to their insurance. I was instructed by their insurance to retrieve my items over the weekend and approve it to be released to USAA/Copart. Due to a brain injury, I called to verify info. I was told Sunday that the lot was closed til Monday but that I could retrieve my items at no cost at that time. I arrived Monday and we parked in the lot in front of the building as there were multiple semis and a delivery truck in the cul-de-sac. The older lady at the desk yelled immediately as we walked into the door but due to the brain injury I am suffering from, I couldn't understand what was happening. She then just began repeating to move my car because that isnt a parking spot. When I understood what was happening, I pointed out the windows and tried to explain what was happening in the intersection. She didnt even bother to turn her head and look, she just continued to get loud. I told her I would have my fiance move the vehicle ASAP but can I please just retrieve the items from my vehicle. I was told I would only need a valid ID but she requested the VIN number. I didnt have that so she asked me for the plate number. I couldn't recall, so my fiance started to say it and she started yelling about moving the car again. Ultimately, I found out that her name is Shay and the area businesses are all aware that she is "quite the lady" and theve never heard anything nice about her. She did not let me retrieve anything from my vehicle including necessary medical equipment or child safety seats. She stated I would need to pay the towing and storage fee and I could then apply for reimbursement from insurance, which is not what I have been told by police, the tow driver, OR the insurance company. The driver was phenomenal. He was safe, kind, funny and helped us remain calm in the panic. The office staff is deplorable. Edited to add: Sheila- "Shay" sent in a request to have police take my car and claimed it was abandoned dated that Monday when I tried to pick it up. I ended up being able to get my items Wednesday and have recorded that entire encounter as well. She denied ever denying me access to my vehicle on Monday. This place is SCUMMY and SCAMMY. I also am reporting to better business bureau and filed a formal complaint with CSPD for fraud as she signed the paperwork stating my vehicle was abandoned. She also forged Officer Adrian S.'s signature on the forms. -
