2 years agoThey came to inspect my home and didn't check underneath my home. The inspector told me a price and changed it a couple days later. I know the price changed since I told a family member to see if it was reasonable. I had questions about the process and it took him several days to respond. He also kept saying he was going to send me the report "today" and didn't send it until several days later. I did not trust him since I felt like I was pulling teeth. I decided to go with another company.

FAQ
Does Intensive Pest Control offer free estimates, and how is pricing determined?
We provide free initial inspections to assess your property and identify any pest issues. Pricing is determined based on the thorough evaluation, including the type and extent of the infestation, the size of your home, and the specific treatments required like fumigation or sub-slab applications. This transparent approach ensures you receive a clear, customized quote without hidden fees.
Are you licensed and insured for pest control services?
Intensive Pest Control is fully licensed and insured to perform pest control and wildlife management in Long Beach and surrounding areas. Our credentials cover inspections, assessments, and treatments including termite fumigation and structural work. Homeowners can request copies of our certifications during the inspection for verification.
Does Intensive Pest Control handle termite fumigation and attic inspections?
We conduct thorough inspections of attics, crawlspaces, and other areas to detect pest damage like droppings or wood deterioration. Our services include termite fumigation, as shown by full tenting of homes, and targeted treatments such as drilling for sub-slab applications. These methods address both visible and hidden infestations effectively.
What is your typical timeline for scheduling and completing pest control services?
We schedule services promptly after your inspection, with arrival windows communicated in advance to fit your availability. Initial treatments like fumigation require preparation time for tenting, typically completed within a day, while follow-up assessments occur as needed. Expect clear updates on each step to minimize disruption to your routine.
How does Intensive Pest Control handle cleanup and after-care following treatments?
After fumigation or other treatments, we remove all tenting, equipment, and debris from your property, leaving it clean and accessible. Drilled holes from sub-slab treatments are patched, and we inspect to ensure no residues remain in living areas. You can re-enter safely once we confirm the process is complete, with guidance on ventilation if needed.
Why is your professional pest control approach better and safer than DIY methods?
Our thorough inspections reveal hidden issues like attic damage or sub-slab infestations that DIY efforts often miss, preventing recurring problems. We use targeted, regulated treatments that minimize environmental impact compared to over-the-counter products, which can be ineffective or hazardous if misapplied. This professional methodology protects your home's structure and health more reliably over time.
