Updated response to their reply: Your response is a lie for damage control. The owner did NOT offer a fix. He told me to call back when I got my invoice for a monetary remedy but when I called, you wouldn't honor that. I already did the repairs. Using deceit to look better in reviews is even more shameful than the shoddy work you did. Just think, a measly few hundred dollars to a wronged client could have rectified this and kept me happily available for future orders. Unfortunate. -- Had carpet installed and they chipped out my baseboards in every room, scraped up my door frames, and even left multiple bloody fingerprints on my new white walls. A thoroughly terrible installation that they are entirely disinterested in remedying. Beware.

FAQ

How does Carpet Cabin determine pricing for carpet or flooring installation?

We base pricing on the type of flooring selected, such as carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood, or laminate, along with the square footage, any stairs or transitions, and additional services like old material removal. Our team provides custom quotes after measuring your space to ensure accuracy for your home, RV, or boat. Walk-ins at our Fort Smith location receive guidance to match options to your budget without hidden fees.

Are you licensed and insured for flooring work?

Carpet Cabin carries the necessary licensing and insurance required for carpet and flooring contractors in our area. This coverage protects your property and our crew during installation projects. Homeowners can request proof of these credentials before scheduling.

Does Carpet Cabin install flooring in RVs, boats, or commercial spaces?

We handle installations for homes, RVs, boats, and commercial areas, including custom fits like berber carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood, laminate, and even SeaDek replacements. Our experience since 1975 ensures proper adaptation to unique spaces beyond standard rooms. Photos of our grey carpet edges against baseboards and door frames show precise work in various settings.

What is the typical timeline and scheduling process with you?

We schedule installations based on your availability after selection and measuring, with most home projects completed in one to two days depending on size. Our crew arrives within agreed windows, coordinating directly with you for minimal disruption. For RVs or boats, timelines account for transport and custom fitting needs.

How does Carpet Cabin handle cleanup and debris after installation?

We remove and dispose of old carpet, vinyl, or other flooring materials during the job. Our team leaves your space clean, vacuuming newly installed floors and ensuring edges meet baseboards neatly as shown in our installation photos. Any furniture moved is returned to position before we finish.

Why is professional installation by you safer and better than DIY flooring?

Our decades of experience since 1975 allow precise cutting, fitting, and securing of materials like carpet in boats or laminate in high-traffic commercial halls, avoiding common DIY errors such as buckling or gaps. Professionals use specialized tools for subfloor prep and seam sealing that prevent future issues like wear or moisture damage. This approach extends flooring life compared to amateur attempts lacking inventory access and expertise.
