2 months agoOur mini-split was "stuck" in defrost mode- was unable to switch to heat or cool properly. Chris checked everything several times before he added refrigerant and checked for leaks. Chris was such a nice, professional young man! He was patient and explained everything that he was doing, and best of all, why!

FAQ
Does Freeman Heat & Air offer free estimates for HVAC repairs or installations?
We provide detailed quotes based on a thorough assessment of your HVAC system to ensure accurate pricing for repairs, installations, or maintenance. Factors like system size, parts needed, and labor determine the final cost, and we explain everything upfront. This approach helps homeowners understand the value without unexpected charges.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Freeman Heat & Air carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC services in our service areas. Our technicians are equipped to handle refrigerant safely with proper certifications. Homeowners can request proof to verify compliance with local regulations.
Does Freeman Heat & Air install mini-split systems and new furnaces?
We handle a range of HVAC tasks including mini-split repairs, furnace replacements, and condenser unit installations as shown in our before-and-after work. Our team assesses the specific issue, such as defrost mode problems or complete system failures, before proceeding. This ensures the right solution for your home's heating and cooling needs.
What is your typical timeline for HVAC repairs and installations?
Freeman Heat & Air responds quickly to service calls, often assessing issues the same day and completing installations within two days when parts are ready. We set clear arrival windows and communicate any delays upfront to fit your schedule. Expect a full walkthrough after completion to confirm everything works properly.
Does Freeman Heat & Air clean up after HVAC installations and repairs?
We remove old units and debris from replacements, leaving your home clean and undamaged after every job. Technicians use protective measures like drop cloths during work on roofs or indoors. This standard practice minimizes mess and respects your property.
Why is hiring you better than attempting HVAC repairs as a DIY project?
Professional HVAC work involves precise checks for leaks, refrigerant levels, and system performance that require specialized tools and knowledge to avoid safety risks like electrical hazards or improper charging. DIY attempts often lead to bigger problems, higher energy bills, or voided warranties due to incorrect sizing or installation. Our thorough process, including multiple verifications, ensures systems run efficiently and last longer.
