10 years agoDave Bennett has provided regular service to our heating and cooling units since the late 1990s. Mr. Bennett was able to diagnose the problem with the mother board on the blower when a previous service provider was not. Dave can sometimes be hard to schedule because he is busy and does not normally delegate work to a sub-contractor. He is worth the wait. -

15 years agoThe tech showed up within 2 hours of us calling for service. He quickly identified the issue and changed out the fan motor for a very reasonable price. The tech, as well as whom we spoke to on the phone, were both very polite and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is needing repair or installation work done on their A/C or heat.

FAQ
How does Bennett Heating, Cooling & Electrical determine pricing for HVAC work?
We provide custom written estimates that detail equipment costs, labor, permits, materials, and any additional services. Our pricing reflects the specific needs of your home, including factors like system sizing, ductwork evaluation, and installation complexity. We recommend getting a detailed estimate upfront so you understand exactly what you're paying for and can avoid surprises on your final bill.
Are you licensed and insured?
Bennett Heating, Cooling & Electrical maintains proper licensing and insurance to protect you during all work. We carry workers' compensation and general liability coverage, and our team is familiar with local permitting requirements and inspections. You can request proof of our credentials before we begin any project.
Does Bennett Heating, Cooling & Electrical handle ductwork and spray foam insulation work?
Yes, we handle comprehensive HVAC solutions including ductwork installation, inspection, and modification. Our team also installs spray foam insulation for energy efficiency in attics and commercial spaces. We evaluate your entire system-including airflow, static pressure, and duct condition-to ensure your heating and cooling system performs at its best.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival time?
Bennett Heating, Cooling & Electrical works to accommodate your schedule and respond promptly to service calls. Our team aims for quick diagnosis and efficient completion of work. When you contact us, we'll discuss the expected timeline from initial consultation through installation or repair, and we'll keep you informed about arrival windows so you can plan accordingly.
How does Bennett Heating, Cooling & Electrical handle cleanup after installation or repair?
We take care to protect your home during all work by using drop cloths and maintaining a clean work environment. After completing your project, our team cleans up debris and waste materials, leaving your home in proper condition. We also walk you through system operation, maintenance requirements, and warranty registration so you're fully prepared to care for your new or repaired equipment.
Why is professional HVAC installation better than DIY approaches?
Professional installation ensures your system is properly sized using load calculations that account for your home's square footage, insulation, windows, and airflow needs. Improper sizing and installation can reduce efficiency, shorten equipment life, and create comfort issues. We follow industry best practices for refrigerant charge, line set sizing, electrical connections, and condensate management-details that directly impact your system's performance and longevity.
