8 months agoI can't say enough good things about Child Air Conditioning. Alfonso (AL) and his colleague were amazing. Kind, considerate, thorough and HONEST!!!! I had originally received an estimate from Chas Roberts who looked at my unit for no more than a couple of minutes, provided ZERO service but still charged $85 and then misdiagnosed my problem and said I needed a part that AL found to be perfectly fine and said nothing about the part that was really the problem...a failing compressor. Had I just said yes, and not got a second opinion, I estimate I would been out a good 6.5k, compared to the 2K it took to fix my unit and replace the compressor which was under warranty. Al and his colleague were prompt on both service visits, went straight to work, were highly communicative and got my AC back on line. Moral of the story...always get a second opinion...unless of course you pick Child Air, then you're good with just one. Appreciate ya all. And Child Air...you make sure you take good care of AL. He's a rare gem of a human. -

1 year agoThanks, Al! I'm cool again!!!! Phew. Great work by Al today fixing my old double-motor air handler, which was no easy task due to tight access. Child Air seems honest, hard working, all around pleasant, and reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend. I even had another guy out a couple times to check on little things a couple years ago, Joey, not sure if he's still there, but recall similar feeling after he left. -
