2 years agoRude. Arrogant. DO NOT let them handle your HVAC concerns. They were out to our house twice and had attitude both times. Once they left without doing anything other than gaslight my wife and flaunt their incompetence. Continue reading if you want to hear the story. Or just save yourself frustration and call another company. Jimmy walked upstairs with me to see my thermostat. As we are walking down the stairs, approximately 90 seconds into his visit, he told me that maybe there's nothing wrong with our air conditioning (This is after 2months of ineffective cooling in a house that we have lived in with no issues for 6+ years. BTW the unit wound up being diagnosed with evap coil leak and condenser coil leak but a more legitimate operation). Then when he asked me where the units were and I told him they were on the roof, he was very confused, repeated the question and I repeated my answer. And then he asked me "is this a two-story?" Now I'm very confused since he literally just walked to the second story to look at the thermostat, AND the work order says that we have a 2 story home with unit on the roof AND they had been here before to address the same unit. He then told me their company doesn't usually go to two-story homes. (The same company came to our house four weeks ago and also was not able to resolve the issue. So I can say they do come to two story homes) Then, after letting himself into my back yard through a gate( without letting me know he was going to do that) He came in through the back door of the house unannounced and declared "all right. If I am going to go up on your roof. I will break your tiles. I am 300 pounds." I told him that if that is the case no he cannot get on my roof (no one has ever had an issue walking on our tiles to get to the roof, including the company that eventually solved our problem). He left and left the back gate wide open. We have a dog that could have gotten out, not to mention its just not a good look to leave doors and gates open behind you. The other reviews from Stanley and Craig are right in line with our experience. -

2 years agoCan't give 0 stars. The owner is rude and is not concerned with your issue. Their theory is that you ac either works or it doesn't. A majority of their revenue must come from home warranty programs who pay them to "certify" that your ac is working, so the warranty doesn't have to pay to fix or replace your ac. Either way they get paid and you get sub par service at best. The owner was extremely rude during his vist. The follow up service provided as requested by my property management company was so bad that my wife asked me to tell them to leave because of how rude he was being. This was less than the unusual and poor customer service I received from the OWNER of Gothem LLC who completely dismissed my issues and told me that a small injection of "freon" would resolve the issue, that they paid no attention to understand what the issue I reported was. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Please feel free to see my other Google reviews as I am open and honest about all reviews I place on the internet. -

2 years agoHighly recommend Gotham Air! The techs that made the repairs, Garrett & James, are very professional, efficient and extremely nice. They were able to get my AC up and running after dealing with 2 incompetent AC vendors.
