1 year agoWayne at All Metro is great. He is knowlegable in his field, & he is very reliable. If it is repairable, he will fix it. He does good work, & won't try to sell you something you don't need. I have used his services in the past, & continiue to use him for general maintenance on my AC system. I have also refered him to my neighbors, who also continiue to use his services. I highly recommend him to anybody that wants great friendly service at a fair price. -

2 years agoThe good: Wayne showed up within 1.5 hours. The bad: Wayne charged $1,055.65, and hasn't sent me a receipt or invoice (4 weeks later). Wayne came out charged me for a bad contact, $300 plus labor, plus trip charge. I said I have a spare, he said can't guarantee the work, ok $500 to at least get the unit working, what choice do I have? Contact didn't fix the problem, Wayne said it's the capacitor, ok, I'll reset the power, came back and there was a black arc fry mark, on the side of the unit. ??? Wayne replaced the capacitor, $xxxx, plus labor install costs. As we waited for the timer to reset the unit, we stood there and the capacitor exploded, BLEW UP....Wayne said he had never seen that before! The unit still didn't work, so he tested the compressor and said it was fried, I need a new unit. I was out $1,055.65, paid it and signed for it on his phone, asked for a receipt and a quote for a new unit. To this day, I have no receipt, no quote, and Wayne is in the wind. You would think he'd want the business, but he's in the wind. Despite numerous text back and forth about correct email address, and me telling him to just mail the receipt. Leaves me wondering if he fried the compressor by reverse wiring the capacitor (polarity), and that's why it exploded! I am not the expert, but something isn't right here. He should have refunded my $ for the capacitor, labor install fee, the contact, and it's labor install fee, and just charged me for the diagnosis and trip charge. Not $1,055.65, and fly by night into the wind! -

2 years agoThe technician, Wayne, was prompt, took the time to thoroughly explain the functioning of the a/c- furnace and made some helpful recommendations on the type of filter to use as the equipment was new to me. At my request he also made the extra effort to extend the condensate line which required getting under the crawl space of the home, which was much appreciated. Thanks Wayne! -

FAQ
Does All Metro Air Conditioning provide free estimates for HVAC services?
We offer free estimates for central A/C service, swamp cooler installation, and heat pump repairs to help you understand costs upfront. Pricing is determined based on a thorough assessment of your system, including factors like unit size, location, and any necessary repairs. This ensures you receive an accurate quote tailored to your home's needs in the Apache Junction area.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
All Metro Air Conditioning carries the required licensing, bonding, and insurance for HVAC contracting in Arizona, including EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants. Our coverage includes general liability and workers' compensation to protect your property and our team during service. We comply with local permitting requirements and inspections for all installations and repairs.
Does All Metro Air Conditioning handle swamp cooler installation and rooftop HVAC unit replacements?
We specialize in swamp cooler installation and replacement, as well as central A/C and heat pump repairs for residential and commercial properties. Our team uses cranes for safe rooftop HVAC unit installations, as seen in our job site photos, and repairs components like damaged electrical disconnect boxes. We also install indoor air handlers and furnaces to maintain efficient cooling through desert seasons.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times with you?
All Metro Air Conditioning keeps customers updated on arrival times, estimated costs, and service expectations before every visit. Our technicians arrive promptly within agreed windows, providing thorough HVAC assessments in a timely manner. This approach minimizes wait times and ensures your cooling or heating issue is addressed efficiently.
Does All Metro Air Conditioning clean up after HVAC installations and repairs?
We leave your property clean and tidy after every job, removing old units, debris, and packaging materials from installations like rooftop HVAC replacements. Technicians use drop cloths and protective measures during service to prevent mess in your home. This includes hauling away damaged parts, such as electrical disconnect boxes, so you can enjoy your space immediately.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC repairs myself?
Our professional approach includes full system inspections, proper equipment sizing, and verification of airflow and refrigerant levels to prevent inefficiencies or breakdowns that DIY efforts often cause. We follow industry standards for safe installations, like correct line set sizing and condensate management, reducing risks of electrical hazards or system failures common in self-repairs. Technicians like Wayne provide knowledgeable guidance during assessments, ensuring long-term performance without the dangers of handling refrigerants or high-voltage components.
