1 year agoWorst experience I have had in a long time with a company. Terrible communication, not following through. I paid a deposit for moving, and then got ghosted by Cody, and could not get in touch with him to discuss a very tight schedule. He was Very kind and motivated at the beginning, then went dark. There was no documentation or discussion that a deposit was nonrefundable, and now he has dodged every call and text I've attempted in an effort to get my money back. I just found out today He changed his number. Stay away from this company at all cost. I am not one that likes to bash a company Online because I know how difficult it is being a business owner, But I don't appreciate having money directly stolen from me. I would've loved to have resolved this off-line, but obviously that is not working. Be aware. -

1 year agoI had an extremely disappointing experience with Amazing Movers, or should I say, Around Town Movers LLC, on 3/13/24. Communication has been a nightmare, with missed appointments, excuses, and unprofessional behavior. The owner, Cody Wilson, has been rude and dismissive, offering no efforts to resolve the issues. They arrived late, ill-prepared, with shoddy equipment, and multiple breakdowns. This has caused me immense stress, missed work, and extra expenses. Avoid this company at all costs; they are not worth the hassle or the $105 deposit they took. As of today, despite numerous attempts to communicate and resolve the situation, I am still without my furniture. The lack of follow-through and accountability from Amazing Movers, or Around Town Movers LLC, has been beyond frustrating. This prolonged ordeal has left me without essential belongings, disrupting my daily life and causing further inconvenience. The utter disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling, and I strongly advise against engaging with this company for any moving needs. Review #2 4/7/24 Cody Wilson again has missed appointment to bring my future this has been going on since 3/13/24, it is now 4/6/24, since has been in possession of my furniture and continues to play games with me and tells me it's just going to storage. Do to his continued equipment fails. Booking other customers around me, instead of just making the situation right with my move that has take a month to go 8 miles. BEWARS BUSINESS! 5/2/24 Owner Cody Wilson stated that I would be receiving my refund and it would take 48 hrs, needless to say he is a lair and will not return my calls or text. Never received refund. Finally received my furniture after an entire month, he should up with the same broken truck with my furniture on and damaged. He stated he would make it right and of course he isn't a man of is word.. I have endured so much with the company and this so called man. Again Beware, I had to file police reports and obtain an attorney. It's not over! -
