6 months agoPaid for a crawl space sump pump that has never worked finally crawled my self under there and replaced it myself with a sump pump i bought now it works fine. The 2 times I was able to get them to come out all they did was whine and complain about my crawl space and said I had a power issue. Well since im an electrician I showed them the plug was hot. After I replaced it myself I sent the salesman a message and asked him what type of refund I could get and he could come pick up his sump pump. I never heard a word from them. Asked to speak to the owner never heard from him either. The owner spends everyday out fishing while his salesman is running his company. If you do business with these guys and they do crappy work dont say I didn't tell you so. They are also very rude and unprofessional. -

8 months agoThey are the worst. Spent over 7,000 with them & supposedly got a life time warranty. They made the problem worse & will not come back out to fix or even look at the problem. Also they are very rude & unprofessional when they actually do answer the phone. -

1 year agoI called last week because I had an appointment for water coming into basement. Troy was supposed to come out. He was a no call no show. He apologized and said he would be out the following Monday morning at 10 am. I called again around 10:30am and he acted like he didn't know he had an appointment. I told him if he didn't want to come out just let me know because he is holding up other appointments. He said yeah call someone else. I asked him if he ran his business like this because he acted like he never knew what was going on. He said I'm sorry you feel that way I then said it's not how I feel it's a fact and he hung up on me. Troy is the owner as I tried going higher up. So if this is how an owner acts and can't have a legitimate conversation with someone then it makes me wonder how good the work is. Anyways this was my experience. You make your own judgement call! -

FAQ
Does Allied Foundation & Crawlspace Solutions offer free estimates for water damage repair?
We provide free estimates after inspecting your property to assess the scope of water damage, foundation issues, or crawlspace problems. This allows us to give you a detailed written quote with no obligation to proceed. Factors like the extent of moisture damage, soil conditions, and required waterproofing influence the final pricing.
Are you licensed and insured for foundation repair and mold remediation?
Allied Foundation & Crawlspace Solutions holds the necessary licensing from the Alabama Homebuilders Licensure Board for contracts exceeding $10,000, ensuring compliance with state regulations for foundation and crawlspace work. We maintain proper insurance to protect both our team and your property during services like mold remediation and waterproofing. Homeowners can verify our credentials through official channels for peace of mind.
Does Allied Foundation & Crawlspace Solutions handle crawlspace encapsulation and sump pump installation?
We specialize in crawlspace encapsulation to seal out moisture, along with installing sump pump basins for effective water management in damp areas. Our process addresses standing water on vapor barriers and concrete wall damage by replacing barriers and adding dehumidifiers for long-term protection. These services restore dry, stable conditions in crawlspaces prone to water intrusion.
What is the typical timeline for your water damage and foundation repair projects?
We complete most projects, such as crawlspace encapsulation or mold remediation, within one week depending on the project's size and complexity. Scheduling starts with a prompt estimate visit, and our team provides clear arrival windows to minimize disruption. Complex foundation fixes on clay soil or hillsides may require additional coordination but aim for efficient timelines.
How does Allied Foundation & Crawlspace Solutions handle cleanup and debris after crawlspace work?
We remove all debris, old vapor barriers, and waste materials from your crawlspace or work site during the project. Our team leaves the area clean and functional, with new encapsulation or waterproofing systems in place. This ensures your home returns to normal use without lingering mess from the repairs.
Why is hiring you for mold remediation and waterproofing safer than attempting DIY fixes?
Professional methods use industrial tools to drive piers to bedrock for stable foundations and fully encapsulate crawlspaces, preventing future moisture issues that DIY patches often miss. We identify root causes like clay soil shifts or poor drainage, which homeowners might overlook, leading to recurring damage. Our approach avoids health risks from improper mold handling and ensures lasting structural integrity.
