10 years agoWe wanted to replace the carpet in our family room and den with hardwood. We were debating replacing all the existing good with larger planks or extending the smaller planks and just going with a deeper, richer color. Junior was wonderful to work with on this project. He discussed options, and pros/cons with us regarding the wood choice and the stain options. He was responsive with any questions we had before, during and after the project. His quote was reasonable and his quality was exceptional. You cannot tell where our old wood ended and the new wood begins. He was professional, timely, and has a strong work ethic. In addition, he was very willing to show us options on the stains to use, along with different applications he can go through for different outcomes (standard application versus water pop). This really helped us get the end result we wanted. He did an EXCEPTIONAL job and we would highly recommend him.

FAQ
How does Inman Precision Wood Floors determine pricing for carpet installation?
We calculate pricing based on room measurements, carpet material chosen, padding requirements, and any necessary surface preparation or old flooring removal. Accurate measuring ensures you get the right amount of carpet without excess waste. Free estimates are provided after an on-site assessment to give you a clear, customized quote.
Are you licensed and insured for carpet installation work?
Inman Precision Wood Floors carries full licensing and insurance to protect your home and our team during every project. This coverage handles any potential issues like accidental damage during installation. Homeowners can request proof of these documents before we start work.
Does Inman Precision Wood Floors handle old flooring removal during carpet installation?
We manage the complete process, including removal of old flooring to prepare for new carpet installation. Our team assesses the subfloor for any issues like unevenness and fixes them to ensure the new carpet lays flat. This end-to-end service prevents common problems that arise from incomplete prep.
What is the typical timeline and arrival window for your carpet installations?
We schedule installations based on your availability, with most single-room jobs taking a few hours and larger projects one full day. Our team arrives within a confirmed two-hour window to minimize wait times. Clear communication beforehand sets exact expectations for start and finish.
What does Inman Precision Wood Floors do with debris and cleanup after carpet installation?
We remove all old flooring, padding, and excess materials from your property at the end of the job. The installation area is thoroughly vacuumed and checked to leave your space clean and ready for use. This includes tucking edges neatly and disposing of waste responsibly.
Why is professional carpet installation safer and better than DIY?
Our meticulous surface prep, precise cutting, and power stretching eliminate wrinkles and ensure the carpet lasts longer without buckling. DIY often lacks specialized tools like seam irons for invisible joins, leading to gaps or premature wear. Professionals handle subfloor issues upfront to avoid costly fixes later.
