4 weeks agoWe bought and installed LVP flooring less than a year ago. The floor is chipping, cracking and coming up in the corners. We were told multiple times when we were buying the flooring that it was covered by warranty. I specifically asked multiple times if it matters that we were installing it. We were told over and over that even if we did it wrong it would still be covered. Less than one year and the floor already needs replaced in spots. We were also told that we didn't need to put anything between the subfloor and LVP. Floor trader came out to look, took some pictures and a piece of the flooring and basically said it was our fault and there was nothing they could do. He also said that the way subfloor moves that it is inevitable that it will eventually cause it to crack and break. We have not had it a year and that's already happening. He said we should have put something under it to help with that. Again we were told not to put anything under it. We love the look of the floor but when we installed it we felt like the quality was not great. It's frustrating that everything we were told has led to us needing to replace our floor in less than one year of having it. It's click together so there's no way to just replace individual boards. It's also throughout our entire house, so it was a large amount of flooring we purchased. Very disappointed and will never shop there again. -
