3 years agoI called several carpet cleaning businesses. The first one arrived at my house to scope out the job. When I asked if the staff would commit to wearing a mask, the representative said he couldn't "force" his workers to wear a mask. Then the individual started to mansplain why masks weren't needed. I respectfully submitted I did not want the company to do the work. That didn't stop the mansplain . However the representative did recommend two other companies that do carpet cleaning. I was grateful for the recommendations. Hey businesses - it's my house. The best businesses listen to my request and RESPECT my request. I always wear a mask while workers are in the house. I provide an N-95 mask if needed to workers. A second carpet cleaning business reported their phone system was not working and just sent an automatic reply. Extreme Carpet Cleaning staff called me back to set a date and time to perform the work. I explained the size and type of carpet. It included a stairway that my cat has sprayed. Extreme carpet staff arrived in a timely manner. Carlos explained what he would do to assure to deal with the cat urine - and it worked. The price was very reasonable. We both wore out masks and it was not a big deal. I would recommend the company. Be sure to be clear about your needs when setting up services. It reduces misunderstandings later. -
