5 months agoHad a fence put in May 2024 and paid half down (approximately 4k) before they came. After they finished the fence we handed them a check for the remaining balance and they declined the check stating we didn't owe them that much because they couldn't put a gate in that we wanted at the back of the yard. We tell them to take the check and refund us. They said they couldn't do that. Called them in June after not hearing from them and we were told to contact the salesmen which we did. The salesmen called back in November and still had no information on what we owed. We never received another bill that was the correct amount however they sent the sheriff to our home as they started a court case. Once receiving the sheriffs paper we had no idea why a sheriff was at our home. Once we called and realized it was this fencing company, I immediately called and paid the remaining 4,125 balance to which I was told we were paid in full. Last week another sheriff came to the door stating we needed to sign for the paperwork so he could get paid. My fiance was out of town and they needed his signature. We made arrangements for the officer to come back on Saturday. Well two sheriffs come, one at the door and the other in the driveway with hand on pistol. We called the company Monday for them to say this case was dismissed and they are sorry. . Just know, they are unprofessional and have no problem sending the sheriff to your home even when it's paid in full. We had proof the bill was paid in full in May. They should have accepted the first check and dispersed a refund if we overpaid but instead they refuse payment and start a court case. If you want to be publicly humiliated then use this company. If not, find another company that knows how to look at the money they received and document it. Thanks for the apology but sending multiple sheriffs to our home is outrageous and embarrassing. -

6 months agoi recently had a safety rail installed to enable my wife to walk up and down a section of stone steps safely. the quote was clear and reasonable and the installers were obviously experienced and professional. they showed up as scheduled and the job was completed on time. they were courteous and left the area clean and neat. i would highly recommend.
