I've had at least 2 other electricians the past few years come "fix" some outdoor outlets. Brian was determined to figure out what the problems were and also went above and beyond with other issues. He was very kind and professional and I'm so happy to now have a great, honest, and reliable electrician to call with my needs in the future!

Brian went to my home that was newly moved to the Baker area and gave me a quote on how much he though my work would be without any charge of a service fee. Brian was the most reasonable price after research on many electricians in the area. I am living two hours away from where the home is now and he has been very helpful even while I am far away. He always discussed what the prices were going towards. Brian even went the extra mile and sent me pictures of the work he was doing and of anything that came up. He always asked me questions before acting on anything and it was nice to work with someone as transparent as Brian knowing I am so far away. He completed his work in a timely manner, always made sure to tell me to call or text him if I needed anything or had any questions. Great customer service. Would recommend and use him again if I ever need anything.

FAQ

How does Central Electric determine pricing for electrical work?

We provide custom quotes based on the specific scope of your project rather than using one-size-fits-all pricing. Our approach focuses on understanding what's actually wrong with your electrical system first, which allows us to give you an accurate estimate that reflects the real work needed. We're transparent about costs upfront so there are no surprises when the job is complete.

Are you licensed and insured?

Central Electric maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to perform residential and commercial electrical work safely and legally. This protects both you and your home during any electrical project we undertake. Always verify that any electrician you hire has current credentials before allowing them to work on your property.

Does Central Electric handle specialized systems like heat trace and snow melting?

Yes, we specialize in heat trace and snow melting systems as part of our broader residential and commercial electrical services. These specialized installations require specific expertise to ensure they function safely and effectively, which is why we recommend having a qualified electrician handle them rather than attempting DIY installation.

What should I expect regarding arrival time and scheduling?

Central Electric arrives at the time specified for your appointment and completes work as contracted. We understand that your time matters, so punctuality and respecting your schedule are part of how we serve the community. If you need to schedule service, contact us directly to arrange a time that works for you.

How does Central Electric handle cleanup after electrical work?

We take care to maintain your home during the work process and clean up after ourselves once the job is complete. Our goal is to leave your space in good condition, though we recommend doing a final walkthrough to ensure everything meets your expectations. If you notice any areas that need additional attention, let us know and we'll address it promptly.

Why is professional electrical work safer than DIY repairs?

Electrical work involves serious safety risks including electrocution and fire hazards if not done properly. Licensed electricians have specialized training to diagnose problems accurately, use the right tools, and ensure all work meets electrical safety codes. A professional can often complete the job in under an hour and guarantee it's done correctly the first time, which protects both your family and your home's long-term electrical integrity.
