2 weeks agoI see many good reviews but I unfortunately do not feel the same. He arrived late which leads me to believe he was in a rush to get to his next job. I was uncertain regarding how low I wanted the ceiling fixture to hang but was told NO when I asked if he could hold up so that I could decide and flat out told he would rather walk away and have me get someone else to do the job. That was my mistake, I should have told him I would get someone else. Now I'm left with a ceiling fixture that is hanging too low. When I asked about raising it, I was told he would have to take it down and redo, which I told him "I understand" but was promptly told he didn't have time. No mention of making it right later. He collected his check and left. He was very unprofessional in my opinion and was not at all interested in leaving with a happy customer. 2 stars is only because the light is up. I'm not sure how much more straight forward I could be. I informed you it was a stairwell light replacement, the ceiling height and I sent you pictures...I even put the light fixture together for the most before you got there. I really don't know what more I could have done. -

2 years agoTried Gurley Electric for the first time about two years ago and have no interest in trying anyone else. They have performed several upgrades and additions, and each time we were EXTREMELY satisfied. They are professional, reasonably priced, prompt and cortious. The past service's have included upgrading our electric panel, added recessed lights for our deck, living room and dining room. Pat and his crew have been exceptional and we will always use Gurley Electric for all our electric needs. -
