4 weeks agoI've used JJRS Electrical for several projects now, ranging from small fixes at my house to more complex wiring at my business, and they have been consistently excellent. It's hard to find a contractor who is equally reliable with both residential and commercial needs. They are professional, show up when they say they will, and actually take the time to explain what needs to be done rather than just cutting corners. Their work is clean, up to code, and they always leave the site tidy. If you're looking for an electrician in the area who is honest and does high-quality work, I can't recommend JJRS enough. They've become my go-to for everything electrical. -

2 years agoWe selected JJRS Electrical to handle all the requirements for a new basement finishing project we had. We selected them after speaking to three other electricians Because they were very experienced, their pricing was very reasonable, and they were highly recommended from a person I knew in the homebuilding industry. Throughout the project their communication was very good, they were always on time, friendly, showed great attention to detail, always left the job site clean, and finished the project on time. I would highly recommend them!

FAQ
Does JJRS Electrical, LLC offer free estimates for electrical work like 200-amp service upgrades?
We provide free estimates after an initial assessment of your electrical system to determine the scope, including factors like current panel capacity and any additional wiring needs. This allows us to give you a custom quote covering labor, materials, and permits without upfront costs. Homeowners can expect this process to help plan for projects such as service upgrades or basement wiring.
Are you licensed and insured for residential and commercial electrical projects?
JJRS Electrical, LLC holds all necessary licensing and insurance required for electrical work in Colorado Springs, covering both residential and commercial jobs like panel installations and service upgrades. We ensure compliance with local codes during every project to protect your property and our team. This setup gives homeowners peace of mind when tackling complex tasks such as new wiring or control panel setups.
Does JJRS Electrical, LLC handle 200-amp service upgrades, new panel installations, and basement wiring?
We manage 200-amp service upgrades, new panel installations, and basement wiring for finishes, as seen in our work on residential service entrances and commercial control panels. Our experience covers underground conduit installations and open panel servicing for homes and businesses in the area. These services address common needs from quick fixes to full renovations.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for electrical jobs?
We schedule projects with clear arrival windows, often completing upgrades like new panels in a few days including assessments, installations, and inspections. Expect a temporary power outage of 4-8 hours during service work, coordinated with utility providers when needed. Homeowners should prepare by clearing access to panels and planning around these timelines for smooth execution.
What does JJRS Electrical, LLC do with debris and how do you leave the job site after work?
We clean up all debris from electrical projects, such as removed wiring, conduit scraps, and packaging materials, leaving your property tidy. After installations like service entrances or underground trenching, we restore the site to its original condition. This practice ensures safety and minimizes disruption for residential and commercial spaces.
Why is it safer to hire you for electrical panel upgrades instead of doing it as a DIY project?
Professional electrical panel upgrades require expertise in local codes, permits, and utility coordination to prevent hazards like overloaded circuits or fire risks that DIY attempts often cause. We assess your system's capacity, install proper grounding, and conduct inspections for safe, compliant results unlike unpermitted home efforts. Homeowners avoid costly mistakes by relying on experienced handling of complex wiring and service changes.
