1 year agoI couldn't have better things to say about The Carpet Shoppe! From the moment I first spoke with one of the operators, and being sent to sales, They listened to my situation of having a dog tear up my carpet. They were so kind and assured me to bring in a small piece and they would help me match it. I brought a small tattered piece of carpet and was helped by Kurt. Kurt showed me around and did his best to help me match my small piece of carpet to their very large rolls. The abundance of what they had was overwhelming but Kurt made it easy to go to roll to roll knowing which one was darker, or which one was lighter along the process of elimination. He was not only informative, but caring to my situation. He helped with sample pieces, starting out to go home and see what matched best. I had been place to place trying to figure out my best option and all lead me to here. They were better priced compared to Lowe's, Home Depot, and carpet one but the customer service is what sealed the deal.

FAQ
Does The Carpet Shoppe offer free estimates for new carpet and flooring installation?
We provide custom quotes based on the size of your space, the type of carpet or flooring you select, and any specific installation needs in each room. During a visit to our Springfield showroom, we help you narrow down styles and materials so pricing is clear before you commit. When we measure your home, we factor in details like stairs, hallways, and transitions to other flooring so the estimate reflects the full scope of work. This approach helps you understand how choices like carpet style, padding, and room layout affect overall cost and value.
Are you licensed and insured, and how can I feel confident about your reputation?
We operate as a professional carpet and flooring contractor in Springfield, MO, with a long history of helping homeowners update their spaces. Our team focuses on knowledgeable guidance in the showroom and careful, efficient installation in your home, which is reflected in how often we are personally recommended. You work with dedicated staff throughout the process, from selection to the installers who complete the job, so you know who is responsible for the work. We encourage you to visit our showroom to see examples of our projects and talk through any questions about qualifications or coverage.
Can The Carpet Shoppe handle carpet installation for stairs, offices, and commercial lobbies as well as homes?
We install carpet in a wide range of settings, including residential rooms, staircases with runners, office spaces, commercial lobbies, and classrooms. Our team can help you choose patterned or speckled carpet that works well in busy areas like offices and schools, as well as softer styles suited to living rooms and bedrooms. For staircases, we pay attention to how the pattern lays over treads and risers so the finished runner looks intentional and secure. Whether the project is a single room in your home or a larger commercial area, we tailor the materials and installation plan to how the space is used day to day.
How do you schedule carpet installation, and what should I expect on the day of the job?
The Carpet Shoppe helps you coordinate timing once you have selected your carpet or flooring, so installation fits your schedule and any other work happening in the home. We discuss how long your specific project is likely to take, whether it is a single room, multiple rooms, or areas like stairs and hallways. On installation day, our crew arrives within the agreed window, reviews the plan with you, and then works methodically from room to room. We aim to minimize disruption by planning access points and keeping tools and materials contained as much as possible while the flooring is installed.
Will The Carpet Shoppe clean up and handle debris after installing my new carpet?
We leave your home with the new carpet or flooring in place and work areas tidied so you can start using the space comfortably. During installation we collect scraps and packaging as we go, keeping the rooms as orderly as possible. At the end of the job, we remove leftover materials and visible debris from the areas where we worked. You may wish to do a light vacuuming or dusting afterward, but our goal is for you to walk in and immediately see a finished floor rather than a job site.
Why should I use your professional installers instead of trying a DIY carpet project?
Our installers are experienced in measuring, cutting, and seaming carpet so it fits each room's layout, including tricky areas like stairs, doorways, and open-plan spaces. Professional installation helps prevent common DIY issues such as wrinkles, bubbles, visible seams, or uneven transitions between rooms. We also know how to handle different carpet constructions and backing types so they perform well over time in both homes and busy commercial spaces. By having the work done correctly the first time, you protect your flooring investment and reduce the likelihood of repairs or premature replacement.
