I just sent pictures with a short note of the work to expect and he was ready. I had not been so pleased with any home services in ages. He went and beyond any expectations I had. 10 months agoAlex came and set us up for level 2 charging within a few days of putting in the request. He was responsive, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Before calling Armenergo LLC, I had called another company that said it would be more than 3 months to provide the same service that Armenergo provided in just a few days. I highly recommend them. -

1 year agoToo Rush! Not Licensed! and Dangerous Practice!!! Recently when a circuit went dead and GFCI Tester indicated 'Open Neutral'. Aleksandr came and checked up 4-5 adjacent outlets in a rush then claimed Neutral broke or loosely connected in the upper stream 'somewhere, most likely in a junction box in walls'. To fix the problem, he would have to re-install a new wire or punch holes in walls to locate the neural breaking spot, which would cost $2500+, Another option he recommended is to connect Neutral to Ground inside the GFCI 'even though not by Code but it's fine'. I specifically asked if that could produce an electrical shock hazard. He replied 'No' also to support his claim by showing that Neural and Ground are connected to the same bar in the electrical panel. He just did the latter by connecting Neural to Ground/bypassing GFCI and charged $200. Later on, I found out from online research and friends with electrical background that connecting Neural to Ground can be a shock hazard. Neutral and ground should ONLY be bonded together in the main panel. So I spent time checking the circuit and finally located/fixed the issue properly myself. He also harshly cut the wires short in the GFCI outlet box that left wires barely long enough for proper connection.
