3 years agoFIrst and foremost I want to say that Amazonia more than earned this 5 star rating. I cannot say enough good things about Amazonia Floors. We are so happy we selected them from the others we considered. But even during the proposal phase they were head and shoulders above the rest. It all starts with Sebastian. He was great work with - very nice, responded promtply, and was very knowledgable and represented Amazonia very well. He made it clear that his company and workers appreciate the business and wanted the chance to do a good job on our project. You dont hear that so much these days. Thomas was also very helpful setting up the job and the details. Very professional, knowledgable and helpful. The rest of the 5 stars go to the people who came and did the job. Always nice and courteous and you could tell they cared about doing a good job and making sure we we more than happy with the new floors. I can honsestly say that we love our floors even more that we hoped for when we started. They did a fantastic job and we could not be more pleased with it. I could go on and on this one. From things like one evening, very late on a special day that most would try to leave early for, 2 of the workers stayed late to put more colors down on the floor so we could be sure we picked the right color. Cant say how much that helped and how much we appreciated that. Picking the right color is key. I will finish this by saying the price they charged for a difficult job was more than fair. Thanks Amazonia for a job well done. -

3 years agoFrom start to finish, Amazonia floors was fabulous! Sebastian is a consummate professional and a kind person, a pleasure to work with! And his men are also great! They are outstanding craftsmen and do beautiful work, arrive on time, clean up all mess, and are helpful, accommodating, and cheerful too. His prices and the quality of his work, his problem solving ability and reliable work and excellent product make Sebastian and Amazonia Floors the only source you need to consider. If I could rate hier than 5 stars, I'd give a 10+. Fabulous!!! -

5 years agoSebastian and his team were amazing. They were very respectful of my home and finished the work professionally and ahead of schedule. They had planned for three days but only had to come back on the third day for about an hour to finalize a very tricky portion of the install that had to do with a stairway railing over a very large opening. All the other contractors I requested quotes from mulled over the complicated stair railings while Amazonia simply quoted and tackled it (Two companies didn't even provide a quote). I would hire them again in a second and quite honestly, wish they did more. Great Crew and Great Experience. -

5 years agoSebastian and his crew did an absolutely beautiful job repairing and refinishing the 100-year-old original hardwood floors in our home. They had not been cared for by the prior owner and after Amazonia was done, they looked brand new! They were quick to respond to all of our questions, reasonably priced, easy to schedule, punctual, worked quickly, followed all covid safety protocols, and did exceptional work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of hardwood refinishing. -

7 years agoSebastian really went above and beyond in every way. Not only did he and his team do an amazing job on the floors, but he was incredibly easy to work with. He was always quick to answer my phone calls and texts which I've found is incredibly rare for contractors. And the fact that he got the job done in one day meant that the disruption to our normal lives was minimal. Will definitely be working with Amazonia Floors again in the future.
