4 months agoI had forgotten to arrange for another outlet to be installed in our crawl space prior to Healthy Spaces doing their work. A friend recommended Bright Electric to me, and I am so glad she recommended them! They were able to work us into their busy schedule while the Healthy Spaces crew was still here. The two electricians were knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. 10/10 I will definitely use them for our future needs and recommend them to anyone! -

8 months agoI'll tell ya, I am so impressed with the abilities of Brian, one of Bright's electricians. My mom in Princeton had an issue with lights not coming on in a family room that was added on decades ago. Brian got to work immediately, checking things inside, making a trip into the attic, & in a short while, he had decided that the issue could probably be found by going up thru the soffit. He found 2 splices that had been made incorrectly & had corroded under the electric tape. Brian corrected the issues, cleaned up afterwards & reminded us that Bright's work is guaranteed if any problems come up. And, he's quite a friendly guy. Thanks, Brian. In addition, the bill was very reasonable. Another local electrician had spent hours trying to find the cause of the low voltage issue & had failed to figure it out. Well done, folks, including Melanie, that takes the phone calls from customers (she's an electrician, too, from what I understand).

FAQ
Does Bright Electric offer free estimates, and how do you determine the cost of electrical work?
We typically provide estimates based on the type of electrical work needed, the complexity of the wiring or equipment, and how much time and material the job will require. For many common residential and light commercial projects, we can give a ballpark estimate once we understand the issue or project scope. Larger jobs, like generator installation or panel and wiring upgrades, may require an on-site visit so we can price the work accurately and avoid surprises. We always explain what is included in the quote so you know what you are paying for before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured to work on my home or business electrical system?
Bright Electric performs electrical installation, maintenance, and repair as a professional electrical contractor, and work is carried out by qualified electricians. We are set up to handle both residential and commercial electrical systems safely and in line with applicable codes and standards. Our team is trained to work on everything from wiring and circuits to equipment like generators and lighting. When you schedule with us, you can expect professional service that treats your property and safety as a priority.
Can Bright Electric handle generator installation, solar equipment hookups, and other specialized electrical projects?
We handle a wide range of electrical services beyond basic outlet and switch repair. Our team installs and services whole-house generators, including the wiring, transfer equipment, and final connections needed for safe operation. We also work with electrical components related to solar power systems, such as inverters and associated disconnects and panels, as well as exterior lighting, rough-in wiring, and finish work for new construction or remodeling. If a project involves your electrical system-inside or outside your home or business-there is a good chance we can take care of it.
How do you schedule jobs, and what should I expect for arrival times and project timelines?
Bright Electric schedules work in set appointment windows so you have a clear idea of when an electrician will arrive. We aim to show up on time, assess the issue quickly, and let you know how long the repair or installation is likely to take before starting. Some tasks, like replacing a faulty outlet or troubleshooting a circuit, can often be completed in a single visit, while larger projects such as generator installations or major wiring work may be planned over multiple days. We communicate with you if anything about the schedule or timeline needs to change so you can plan around the work.
What can I expect from Bright Electric in terms of cleanup and how my home is left after the job?
We treat your home or business as a finished space, even when we are doing rough-in wiring or more involved electrical work. Our electricians clean up work areas, pick up scrap wire and materials, and remove packaging and other small debris generated by the job. When we need to open walls, ceilings, or exterior fixtures, we do it in a way that keeps the area as neat and contained as possible so follow-up patching or painting is straightforward. Before we leave, we make sure the electrical system is functioning correctly and that the space is left in a tidy, safe condition.
Why is it safer to hire you instead of trying to do my own electrical work?
Electrical systems can be dangerous if they are installed or repaired incorrectly, and problems are not always visible right away. Our electricians work with wiring, panels, generators, and fixtures every day, so we understand how to diagnose issues safely and make repairs that meet electrical codes. Properly sized circuits, correctly installed breakers, and secure terminations all reduce the risk of shocks, equipment damage, and electrical fires. By hiring us instead of doing it yourself, you get work that is tested, documented, and ready to serve your home or business reliably over the long term.
