Excellent work and professionalism. Electricians Ryan and Tyler were right on time and at ease to work with. They installed a 220w outlet for a new piece of equipment and inspected the area before work to make sure the outlet access would be installed in a good location for access to the equipment. Both were very pleasant to work with. After installation, they had me turn things on to make sure the installation worked out. They cleaned the area thoroughly of any work debris and wish me a good day. I highly recommend Three Rivers Electric.

FAQ

Does Three Rivers Electric offer free estimates, and how do you determine pricing for electrical work?

We provide clear, upfront estimates based on the type of electrical work needed, the condition of your existing wiring or panel, and the time and materials required to do the job safely. For many projects, we start with an on-site assessment so we can see the equipment, outlets, or lighting being added or repaired and quote it accurately. Our pricing reflects the scope of work, any specialized materials, and the level of troubleshooting involved. When the work goes faster or requires fewer materials than expected, we adjust the final bill to match the actual time and work completed.

Are you licensed and insured to work on my home or business?

Three Rivers Electric operates as a professional electrical contractor in Fort Wayne, IN, serving both residential and commercial properties. Our work is performed by trained electricians who follow current electrical codes and industry safety standards. We maintain the appropriate business credentials and insurance required for an electrical contractor in our area. This helps protect your property and ensures your new outlets, lighting, or equipment hook-ups are installed safely and correctly.

What types of electrical jobs can Three Rivers Electric handle, like 220 outlets, EV chargers, or lighting repairs?

We handle a wide range of electrical services, including installing new 220 outlets for equipment, adding or upgrading lighting, and troubleshooting problem circuits. Our team can install and wire equipment hook-ups, repair or replace overhead light fixtures, and work on electrical panels where needed. We also install equipment such as EV chargers and other dedicated circuits that need proper sizing and safe conduit runs. Whether you need a single outlet added or multiple issues diagnosed and repaired, we tailor our work to the specific needs of your home or business.

How soon can your electricians come out, and what should I expect on the day of my appointment?

Three Rivers Electric schedules appointments within regular business hours and works to provide prompt service, especially when you have active electrical problems. When you book, we give you an appointment time and explain what type of visit it will be, such as a quote, troubleshooting, or a full repair. On the day of service, our electricians arrive within the scheduled window, review the work with you, and confirm the plan before starting. We come prepared with common materials and equipment so most repairs or installations can be completed efficiently in a single visit.

Will Three Rivers Electric clean up and remove any debris after the electrical work is done?

We make a point to leave your space as tidy as possible once the electrical work is finished. Our electricians collect packaging, wire scraps, and other job-related debris rather than leaving it around your home or business. We keep work areas organized during the job to minimize disruption, especially around panels, fixtures, and equipment hook-ups. Before we leave, we do a quick walk-through with you whenever possible so you can see the finished work and the condition of the area.

Why should I hire you instead of trying to do electrical work myself?

We work with live electrical systems every day, so we understand how to safely shut down, test, and repair circuits, panels, and outlets without creating shock or fire hazards. A do-it-yourself approach can easily miss issues like overloaded circuits, improper grounding, or loose connections that may not fail right away but can become dangerous over time. Our electricians use proper tools, follow electrical code, and size wiring and breakers correctly for things like 220 outlets, EV chargers, and lighting. By having us handle the work, you reduce the risk of injury, avoid hidden wiring problems, and get installations that are set up to perform reliably for years.
