Connected with Rowe electric for a yard light installation. Initially responded over email and I tried my level best to provide all information and pic over email just to avoid a trip for them from FWA. However after receiving all the details never gave an estimate. The worst thing is someone who stays silent. If you are not willing to work or take up the project however big or small communicate with your prospective customers and explain them. Guess what happened I added another room and never gave them the business. Ofcourse they might be a big business and losing one customer doesn't create any impact.

FAQ

Does Rowe Electric Inc. offer free estimates, and how do you determine the cost of electrical work?

We provide estimates based on the specific details of your project, such as the type of electrical work, the condition of your existing wiring, and how accessible the area is. For many jobs, we can start the estimating process by reviewing information and photos you share so we understand the scope before visiting. Once we see the job in person, we confirm what is needed to keep the work safe and code-compliant and then provide a clear price. This approach helps you understand what you are paying for and why, before any work begins.

Are you licensed and insured for electrical work in Fort Wayne?

Rowe Electric Inc. operates as a professional electrical contractor serving homeowners and businesses in the Fort Wayne area. We perform work that is intended to meet applicable electrical codes and safety standards for our region. Our focus on code-compliant installations and repairs reflects the training and qualifications needed to handle wiring, service upgrades, and electrical troubleshooting safely. Homeowners can ask to review our licensing and insurance documentation before work starts so they understand who is working in their home.

Can Rowe Electric Inc. help with specific jobs like new wiring, electrical upgrades, and lighting installations?

We handle a range of electrical projects, including new wiring for homes or additions, electrical panel or circuit upgrades, and installing interior or exterior lighting. Our team can also troubleshoot problem circuits, outlets, or switches when something is not working correctly. For outdoor needs such as yard lighting or other exterior fixtures, we evaluate the layout and wiring so the installation is safe and suited to your property. If you are unsure whether your project fits our services, you can share a description and photos so we can confirm what we can do.

How do you schedule jobs, and when should I expect Rowe Electric Inc. to arrive?

We schedule electrical work based on the size of the job, the location in or around Fort Wayne, and the materials needed. Rowe Electric Inc. sets an appointment time or arrival window and communicates that with you in advance, so you know when to expect us. For estimates, we arrange a visit to look at the project and then follow up with pricing information by email or another agreed method. If timing or communication changes are needed, we aim to update you promptly so you are not left guessing about the status of your project.

How does Rowe Electric Inc. handle cleanup and any disruption to my home during electrical work?

We work to keep disruption to your home as minimal as possible while we access wiring, panels, and fixtures. When we need to move furniture or open wall or ceiling areas to reach electrical components, we discuss this with you beforehand so you know what to expect. After the work is complete, we collect and remove our electrical debris, such as wire scraps, old devices, and packaging, and leave the work area swept or vacuumed. If any larger repairs or refinishing are needed beyond the electrical scope, we explain that so you can plan follow-up work with the appropriate trades.

Why should I hire you instead of doing my own electrical work?

We focus on completing electrical work in a way that is safe and meets current electrical codes, which is difficult to guarantee with DIY wiring. Improper connections, overloading circuits, or using the wrong materials can create shock and fire risks that may not be obvious to a homeowner. Our process includes evaluating the existing system, choosing the right wiring methods and protective devices, and testing circuits after work is done. This approach not only helps protect your home and family, it also supports future inspections, insurance requirements, and the long-term reliability of your electrical system.
