1 year agoMy parents were considering on renovating the basement, replacing the carpet with hardwood flooring. While this is generally a good idea, we recognized that the carpet itself was still in great condition and complemented the cozy vibe our basement already had. After about a month of deliberation and trying to figure out if hardwood/laminate flooring was the route my parents really wanted to take, I suggested they first have the carpet cleaned and restored at least close to its original colour. I finally convinced my parents to contact Prolific Cleaning and they did an excellent job. The most surprising thing is that they offered to clear the basement for them before proceeding with the cleanup (their basement is small, so simply shifting the couches around wouldn't work). While this sounds like a minor detail, I must note that my parents are elderly and they were relived knowing they didn't need to stress hiring movers. After the job was completed, the carpet returned to a much brighter off-white that we remembered when we first moved in. The whiter-white accentuated the cozy vibe their small basement had and they ultimately decided not to install new flooring. Personally, I am writing this review not only because they did such an excellent job, but also because they treated my family well. As per my mother, "they were so kind with us and even made us laugh whenever they came upstairs!" -

Even though the job was bigger then expected for him, he got it done in a timely manner, and was very professional, going above and beyond with cleaning hard to reach areas and being very thorough. Honestly, I'd highly recommend. He even double checked before he left if it was up to satisfaction. Try them out, and you be the judge.
