1 year agoSave your money. These are just a few of the many pictures I have sent to be fixed. Not even a year later my fence isn't even connected anymore. Took him months to come correct his workers awful job. And as you can see, not corrected. -

4 years agoI had an excellent experience with Pro Fence. They removed a heavy old fence with wooden posts and replaced them with new panels and steel posts at my Acushnet home. The team was professional and responsive. -

4 years agoWe had called several fence companies for estimates. They would come and measure and never send us an estimate, return phone calls, or gave such ridiculously expense quotes because they were busy. I called Pro Fence, because they had been recommended by another fence company that was to busy for new work. I asked Jim about the bad reviews stating people lost their money and he explained how an employee had stolen the deposits and skipped town I took a chance and went with his crew. We were not disappointed. Jim was quick with his estimate and did not cash my deposit check until the day before they started. His crew was pleasant and hard working. The job they did on a wood fence that I wanted copied from someone else's yard was above our expectations. He went and looked at that fence several times to make sure they got it right and even made it better. Our fence was so well done that he got two jobs opportunities from people walking and driving by. Please give them a chance. It is awful to be in business and have a crooked employee ruin your companies reputation. You can feel confident using them for all your fencing needs. -

4 years agoEDITING TO ADD: All of the other "reviewers" are Jim's facebook friends. Seems legit. This "man" stole $1300 cash from me. Loser. Not a fence contractor... just a con artist. Will take your deposit and never return with a fence or the money.

FAQ
How does Profence determine pricing for fence installations?
We calculate pricing based on factors like fence material, length, height, site preparation needs, and any custom features such as gates. Our crew provides custom quotes after assessing your property to ensure accuracy for chain link, barbed wire, wooden picket, or vinyl fences. This approach accounts for local conditions in Leander, New Bedford, MA, to deliver fair value without surprises.
Are you licensed and insured for fencing work?
Profence holds the necessary licensing and insurance required for fencing projects in the area. This covers liability and worker protection during installations and repairs of chain link or barbed wire fences. Homeowners benefit from this protection against potential accidents or damages on site.
Does Profence handle chain link and wooden fence installations?
We manage full chain link fence setups, including black chain link with gates and enclosures around propane tanks, as well as wooden picket fences along streets or yards. Our services also cover barbed wire installations and repairs from site prep to secure finishes. These projects use appropriate materials suited to local properties.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for fence projects?
We schedule projects based on size and complexity, with workers arriving on time as confirmed in advance. Installation timelines vary from a few days for standard chain link or wooden fences to longer for extensive site prep. Expect clear communication on start dates and daily arrival windows to minimize disruptions.
What cleanup does Profence provide after fence installation?
We clean up the site thoroughly before leaving, removing debris, excess materials, and dirt from chain link, wooden, or vinyl fence projects. This leaves your property neat and ready for use right away. Any waste is hauled away responsibly as part of our standard process.
Why is hiring you better than doing a fence installation myself?
Professional installation ensures proper site preparation, material selection, and secure fastening that withstand local weather and soil conditions over time. DIY often leads to issues like uneven posts, weak tension in chain link, or code violations without the right tools and experience. Our approach from assessment to finish prioritizes safety and durability for long-lasting results.
