2 years agoWe hired Pauly with him knowing we had a hard deadline. He said he would have it done by the end of the week. By Saturday at the latest before Christmas. Since then he has put us off twice more. The last time until the day before our hard deadline a week and a half after he originally said he'd have it done. We stupidly paid him $750 for the whole job so he would get us scheduled. At this point, we were concerned that it wasn't going to get done in time, so when someone else said they could fix it, we decided to go with them. Now Pauly says we will only get refunded $350 instead of closer to the $750 we paid. I could understand keeping a small courtesy fee, but over half the money paid for a job that should have been done a week and a half ago and isn't done yet is ridiculous -

2 years agoI own an apartment that needed carpet installed. I requested a quote from this company over two weeks beforehand. Paul came out, measured, and gave me a quote which I agreed and we set the date for my carpet installation. On the day before the date we set, I texted to confirm. Paul responded that he was 'under the weather', but would be there the next day. Fortunately, I left myself a grace day. At 10:00 the night before, Paul texted me to say that he couldn't do the job, and that he didn't have any alternatives to offer. I don't know if this was just an isolated incident, or if this is just the way this guy operates his business, but my suggestion is to beware. I wish I was more aware before I relied on his word. -
