4 years agoMy name is Tom Cashman owner of Cutting Edge Components. I was contracted by Ernie the owner of Minuteman Home Services to building custom cabinets for one of his clients. I provided Ernie with a full set of drawings to show his client what her kitchen was going to look like when complete. Ernie sold the job to his client and paid me a deposit to start the project. Ernie and his client had a falling out while he was working on her project. Ernie walked away from the project leaving the client with an unfinished kitchen. I know this because I still have some of her cabinets in my shop. I have contacted Ernie several times trying to recover the $6,500.00 unpaid balance with absolutely no luck. Ernie left his client with an torn apart unfinished kitchen and a $6,500.00 unpaid balance. I have filed a small claims lawsuit against Ernie but he has dodged the processor server several times. I made a complaint with The Registrar of Contractors as well as The Better Business Bureau. This guy is no good! -

5 years agoAfter noticing my AC not turning off (July in Phoenix) I called Minuteman to schedule a maintenance visit. Herb came by to give what I hoped would be a tune up. He explained to us that the condenser and air handler was very old and on its last leg. He gave us a great breakdown and offered us multiple brands with different sear and tonnage ratings. We selected a air handler / condenser package we liked. The team came out the next week and installed both units. Our house is considerably more comfortable and the AC is running a fraction of the time as the old system. I was very happy with all aspects of dealing with the Minuteman Team. The price was fair and I didn't feel pressured to purchase something I didn't need. Thanks Herb and Minuteman!! -

5 years agoThis company cannot follow up and service what they have installed. We spent thousands of dollars for a new water heater and filtration system. Our filtration system is now leaking but they have nobody to come a repair. This was installed only 4 months ago. I called them twice and have been told they just have no one to come out to fix my system. I am furious. I feel we have been used and scammed. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AGAIN. DO NOT HAVE THEM DO A THING IN YOUR HOME!!!
