6 months agoI signed a contract with this company a month ago. I was told that it would take a day or two to get the permit, then they would begin the project with one day for plumbing and one day for electrical. I paid them $4000 down payment and they have basically put me on ignore. When I could get the sales person to answer my texts, I was told that they were waiting on the permit. Today, I called the permitting office and they told me that there was never any permit at all. Even with confronted with her lies, Jana Sherman doubles down and ghosts me. I now have to file a complaint with the attorney general's office to try and recover my money. This may have been a decent company at one time, but not any more. BEWARE THESE PEOPLE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!! -

2 years ago$12,300 They professionally installed my home generator, explained everything to me, and have excellently provided scheduled maintenance. I have been extremely pleased with everyone in the company whom I have dealt with -

2 years agoThey orginally installed our generator 4 years ago. We have paid them for maintenance for the past for years. As long is there is no emergency they are ok. But if you need them in an emergency good luck you are on you own, you may want to consider others to be there when you need them. -

2 years ago$9,000 Still awaiting installation. First contacted supplier in April. Salesman over promised and under delivered. Poor communications. When we asked questions about the status we got misleading "cut and paste" answers. When someone called they were aggressive and full of excuses. Not conciliatory or helpful at all. Had to go to City ourselves to get permit issued. Still waiting.......more excuses..... -

FAQ
How does Grasten Power Technologies determine pricing for electrical installations or generator projects?
We base pricing on the scope of work, including materials, labor, and any required permits for your specific commercial or industrial electrical project. Factors like system complexity and equipment size influence the final cost, with examples from past generator installations ranging from $9,000 to $32,000 depending on capacity and setup. We provide detailed quotes upfront to outline all components and ensure transparency before any contract is signed.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical work?
Grasten Power Technologies holds all necessary licensing and insurance required for electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs in the Conroe area. Our team adheres to relevant codes to guarantee safe operations for commercial and industrial systems. Homeowners can verify credentials through standard industry channels to confirm compliance before scheduling services.
Does Grasten Power Technologies handle generator installation and maintenance services?
We specialize in comprehensive generator installation for homes and businesses, covering wiring, panel termination, and full system integration. Our services extend to scheduled maintenance to keep generators operating efficiently over time, as demonstrated in long-term client relationships spanning four years. This ensures minimal downtime and sustained performance for backup power needs.
What is the typical timeline and scheduling process for your projects?
Grasten Power Technologies follows a structured timeline that includes time for obtaining permits, typically one to two days, followed by dedicated days for each phase like electrical work. Projects begin once approvals are secured, with clear communication on start dates to set expectations. Delays can occur due to supplier timelines or unforeseen issues, so we update clients promptly on progress.
What happens to debris and how do you leave the site after Grasten Power Technologies completes a job?
We remove all waste materials, packaging, and debris generated from electrical installations or generator setups to leave your property clean and orderly. Our team organizes the work area before departure, ensuring no disruption to your daily operations in commercial or industrial spaces. This practice supports efficient project completion while respecting your environment.
Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting DIY electrical or generator work?
Professional handling ensures compliance with electrical codes, preventing hazards like shocks, fires, or system failures that DIY efforts often overlook due to lack of specialized tools and training. We troubleshoot complex equipment accurately, minimizing risks during installation and maintenance compared to untrained attempts. This approach protects your investment and safety by addressing issues comprehensively from the start.
