1 year agoLets get to it shall we? Cost: This is what you came here for, people these days charge literally arms, legs, 1st born, black market organ prices these days for some Vinyl and concrete. I know someone out there "boo-hoo do it yourself, capitalism, free market, stop being lazy" Yes as much as I agree with you there is a limit to my "That's a reasonable price" since I too have been HEAVILY affected by the rising price of things I like, such as cookies. side note: HOW in the Lords great name are Oreos $10 at target when they use to be $4?! Back to the review, BARWICK came in at an AMAZING price. Let's just say, of the 15 companies I called I was quoted even into the TEENS for a fence. SAME EXACT FENCE, LITERALLY Same fence according to the quotes. BARWICK beat them all. (it's rude to share prices as I'm not the vendor and I don't quote their work) without giving it away fully, I could afford Oreos at their current price for the next YEARS comfortably to their next competitor. Craftsmanship: Not all fences are created equally I have found. Walking around the neighborhood we can all see some that have..."drooped" or have "large gaps" That's not a jab at whoever did it but it is an indicator for me that I wanted my fence to not be droopy. His team showed up with their tools and skid steer. We found a small area where there would be gaps but he was very quick to offer a solution that I approved of to make sure I was satisfied. Fence Looks AMAZING, and could not be more pleased. Time frame: I ordered my fence with a deposit 2 weeks ago and signed my contract. He was very quick to be in close contact and make sure he answered any of my concerns or questions. We originally spoke about seeing "within the month" but my fence arrived in it's pieces and he set my date for 4 days later to make sure we could get it done as soon as possible. Installation: SAME DAY. LITERALLY, need I say more? SAME DAY, seriously I've seen many fences go up around me and in the new development, it seems to take people DAYS. His crew showed up bright and early (745-8) and they started work after a quick meeting. I asked if he would need to leave tools or items in my backyard, he kind of looked confused and laughed, "We'll be done by days end for sure" AND they were. Cleaned up (seriously though who gets ALL the dirt, there is more to clean but it's dirt, lol I can't complain) Wheels moving and out of the neighborhood in 5:45. Customer Service: Nicest person I've met yet in that business. I had a few people give quotes previously, and then the current batch of people. Between the "receptionist" the "someone will call you back" and the "Good luck you won't beat this price" I was getting plenty tired of talking to people who only seemed to be interested in my money and not my business. Payton answered my email (within a few hours), we called and text, he made sure to ask the proper questions and managed expectations. He thanked me for my time, shook my hand when we met, and explained his process. This all seems like a "duh" but seriously it was like pulling teeth to get a proper personal interaction with anyone before him. His entire team was extremely polite and helpful, I joked and talked to them in my few times I went to check in and see if they needed anything. A very polite, honest and stand up crew. Conclusion from a giant wall of text: Cliff notes for the impatient. They killed it in every single way. We saved money from a market made only for those who want to spend 10k for a fence. We met some great people, They cleaned up very well from the holes that were made, did not break my irrigation lines, exceeded installation time frame and expectations. 10/10 will recommend forever. -
