3 months agoI contacted this company for a very small job - replacing a rusted bonding clamp on a copper water line. The grounding wire was already in place and intact. Instead of quoting me for the actual repair, they gave me an estimate for a full grounding system overhaul, including 40 feet of new wire and conduit. The quote was over $1,500 ( or more they said) for something that ended up costing $150 when fixed by another professional. I felt the quote was completely out of proportion to the work needed and didn't match the actual condition of the system. This experience makes me question their pricing transparency, especially for homeowners who may not know electrical terminology. I would not use this company again based on this interaction. -

6 months agoI contacted Rays to install an EVSE, aka EV car charger, in my garage. Everyone I worked with from Rays was great from scheduling through installation and follow up. Ray and Zack came out for the initial meeting and we agreed on the work to be completed. Zack and Al came back to do the installation. They were professional, got the work done quickly, cleaned up, answered all my questions and made sure that both the hardware and software for the charger were working properly. I truly feel that they understand all the requirements for the safe installation of a EV charger. They even performed a follow up visit due to an unforeseen hardware issue that had nothing to do with the installation work that Rays did. They have an efficient administrative process that streamlines estimate, billing and payment so it can all be handled electronically, making things easier for me. If you need to have a car charger installed you can't do better than Rays. -
