Tom came to the house and gave us a great estimate and helped us continually with the process. The installers were nice and worked diligently. We would use them again. -

1 month agoI began this journey the first week of October. It is the middle of January and I still have no fence. They were supposed to be out yesterday and canceled. They will not call you, you have to call them to get updates. They insisted on taking a 50% deposit up front to do business with me. After nearly 4 months of being on the schedule and being off the schedule I decided to take my business elsewhere I let them know when I would be by to collect my deposit. They made me wait 30 minutes while they figured out how to take advantage of the situation. And WOW. they did just that. After not receiving any product oflr service they said they had to keep $1,100.00 for restock fees. It makes me wonder how they have such policies that favor them when they fail the customers. You will be disappointed. Take a moment and read the reviews. People are not exaggerating, this has been the worst experience of anyone I have done business with in a very long time. -

2 months agoAmeridream installed a vinyl privacy fence for me 9 years ago. It's still straight, solid, and looking good. So, we used them at my place of employment for another vinyl playground fence. There were several delays on our end unrelated to Ameridream. They were very patient through several reschedulings. The finished product looks good, the installers worked hard and long days. My only complaint is the salesman was terrible getting back to me when needed. -

3 months agoIn June 2024, the crew from AmeriDream Fencing Co. struck and severed our ComEd power line while installing our deck. I immediately attempted to contact the company multiple times and received no response at all, leaving us without power and forced to handle the emergency ourselves. Because AmeriDream never responded, we had no choice but to hire JV Electric to hand-dig and trench our entire yard to safely install new conduit - a job their own crew could have done had they responded when the line was hit. We paid thousands out of pocket for this and for the ComEd reconnection. Only after we contacted their insurance company directly did the owner, Alex, finally show up at our home in early September - nearly three months later - to "inspect the damage." During that visit, he said two concerning things: * He claimed he "first needed to ask his guys" if they hit the line, despite the fact that the line was directly beneath one of their deck post footings. * He stated, "You guys paid a lot for trenching - my guys could have done that." We would have gladly let them - if they had answered any of our calls when the power went out. ComEd has confirmed that JULIE markings can be up to 2 feet off, meaning it was AmeriDream's responsibility to adjust their plans or dig cautiously - not proceed blindly and hit the line. There is no dispute that the power line was directly under their installed deck post. Since that visit, despite multiple follow-up emails requesting a simple claim number or reimbursement timeline, we have received zero response from AmeriDream or Alex. Their insurance confirmed Alex himself is handling this claim, yet he has continued to ignore all communication. We are seeking: * Immediate reimbursement for the documented electrical repair costs we have already paid * Confirmation of claim submission and claim number * A professional response after months of being ignored This is now beyond unacceptable and reflects severe negligence and disregard for customer safety and responsibility. We are requesting BBB assistance for urgent resolution.
