11 months agoWe recently bought kitchen and bath tile here and have been in several times recently. The showroom is beautiful and there are tons of choices. We were helped by Lynn and Casey and they were great. Both gave us great ideas and were super efficient and friendly. We had to go one last time this past Monday to choose a small trim piece for the bathroom. For some reason we were helped by Meg this time. She suggested a color for the trim which wouldn't work with the rest of our colors and when I told her that she literally threw the ring of samples across her desk and told me that's all she had. She refused to help choose another or even to answer any questions. She was rude and nasty and when I said I wasn't going to deal with her she insulted me. Then when I walked away she started laughing. We went to Lynn who told us to come back after her appointment. When we returned, Meg again started laughing when we walked by ignoring her. This person has zero customer service skills. I'm not sure if she was mad that we came without an appointment or what the reason was for her rudeness, but again, all we needed was a $15 trim piece. If she wasn't so awful we would have been out the door in ten minutes. Definitely not how I expect to be treated by a sales person after spending thousands of dollars there. She should be fired. If you go to Arley, ask for Lynn- she's great. -

2 years agoNot very organized. I paid for my tile and I've been waiting for 40 minutes for someone to load it. Edit: It ended up taking an hour. It was only 5 boxes of tile. I don't know if they had to make the tile or what took so long. -

FAQ
How does Arley Wholesale determine pricing for carpet installation and tile projects?
We calculate pricing based on the square footage of the area, the specific materials selected from our showroom like carpet, tile, or flooring options, and any custom installation needs for residential or commercial spaces. Our team provides detailed quotes after measuring your space and discussing your choices to ensure transparency. This approach helps you understand the full cost upfront, including labor for proper installation.
Do you offer free estimates for flooring work?
Arley Wholesale offers free estimates where our team visits your location in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to measure the space and bring samples from our extensive showroom selections. We then provide a clear quote tailored to your carpet, tile, or flooring project. This no-obligation process allows you to explore options with our knowledgeable staff before committing.
Is Arley Wholesale licensed and insured for carpet contracting and tile installation?
We maintain proper licensing and insurance required for carpet contracting, flooring contracting, and tile installation services in Pennsylvania. Our technical team follows industry standards to ensure safe and compliant work on residential and commercial projects. Homeowners can verify our credentials during the initial consultation for added peace of mind.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for carpet or tile installation?
We schedule installations based on material availability and your project scope, typically completing standard residential jobs within a few days after measurements. Our team arrives within agreed time windows and coordinates directly with you to minimize disruptions. Factors like custom tile sizes or large commercial areas may extend timelines, which we outline upfront.
What does Arley Wholesale do with debris and cleanup after tile or carpet installation?
We handle all debris removal from carpet installation, tile work, and flooring projects, leaving your space clean and ready for use. Our installers use protective measures to safeguard your home during the process and perform a thorough cleanup afterward. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, and disposing of waste responsibly.
Why is professional carpet and tile installation safer and better than DIY?
Our team applies technical expertise to select appropriate materials, take precise measurements, and ensure proper adhesion and alignment, avoiding common DIY errors like mismatched tile sizes or uneven carpet seams. Professionals use specialized tools and techniques that prevent structural damage and ensure longevity under foot traffic. This reduces risks such as slips from poor installation or voided warranties from improper methods.
