Terrell and Bryce were so sweet and God the job done quickly. They went above and beyond the work they were hired for and did it with a smile. Terrell has been to my house a few times since my entire house seems to be a fire hazard.. he has helped us immensely!

I hired Wire Nutz twice. The first project was for a complete knob and tube replacement in the attic. I got 3 bids for this job and Wire Nutz was by far the most affordable. I think a few of their electricians were out sick, so that ended up delaying my project by a week. That meant that I had to delay other contractor's work, but it worked out in the end. I appreciate that they were able to minimize damage to my plastered walls. I was happy with their work and decided to hire them again a year later to do the service panel replacement and basement re-wiring. Since this was a complicated project, I must have gone back and forth on the details of the bid like 10 times with the owner, Matt. He was patient and helpful with me. The city inspector was happy with their work and so was I.

WireNutz was hired by American Home Shield to check a problem with a bathroom exhaust fan at my home. The work performed itself was satisfactory, however, I had concerns regarding what led to the work being done in the first place (replacement of the fan). After playing phone tag with the owner, Matt, he and I were able to connect and I shared my concerns. Throughout the conversation Matt was professional; he took the time to listen to my concerns. After sharing our perspective with each other, it was clear to me that Matt was interested in knowing what he could do to retain my business and earn my future business. We were able to come to a mutually acceptable agreement in the same conversation. Because Matt took the time to personally contact me and work through my concerns, I can confidently and firmly recommend Wire Nutz to anyone considering residential electrical work. Because I rated punctuality less than an "A", I'll provide an explanation of that rating here. Originally, AHS sent the work order to WireNutz in mid-December (right about the time of the heavy snowfall in the region). It took another couple of phone calls (made in late December and early January) before WireNutz was able to locate the work order (their rep said they never received the original work order in mid-December). However, once they located the work order, they had someone out to check out the problem in just a couple of days, which I find satisfactory. As a footnote, I STRONGLY CAUTION ANYone against entering into a "home warranty" contract with AHS. After talking with Matt, it seems much of the issue rests with AHS.

The work they did, didn't pass inspection. They came back out and still didn't correct some of the issues. The things that didn't pass were basic such as not nailing down wires.

FAQ

Does Wire Nutz LLC offer free estimates for electrical work?

We provide detailed quotes based on the scope of the job, such as repairs, panel change outs, or solar system installations. Factors like project complexity, materials needed, and location determine the final pricing. Contact us to discuss your needs and get a custom quote tailored to your home's electrical requirements.

Are you licensed and insured for residential electrical services?

Wire Nutz LLC holds the proper licensing and insurance required for all residential electrical work in Vancouver, WA. Our team follows local codes to ensure installations like home wiring, low voltage setups, and rewiring meet safety standards. This coverage protects both your property and our crew during every project.

Does Wire Nutz LLC handle repairs for damaged electrical outlets and knob and tube replacement?

We specialize in repairing damaged and burnt electrical outlets, as well as complete knob and tube replacements in attics and other areas. Our services extend to emergency fixes, up-to-code repairs, rewiring, and installations like outdoor outlets with weather-resistant covers. No job is too complex, from low voltage home theater setups to panel upgrades.

What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduling electrical jobs?

We schedule jobs based on urgency, with emergency fixes prioritized for quick response. Most residential projects like wiring or outlet repairs take a few hours to a full day, depending on scope. Expect our crew to arrive within the agreed time window and communicate any changes promptly.

This includes clearing away old wiring scraps, packaging materials, and dust from panel change outs or solar setups. Your space is respected as our own during and after the work.

Why is hiring you safer than attempting DIY electrical repairs?

Professional electricians use proper tools and follow electrical codes to prevent hazards like shocks, fires, or code violations that DIY often causes. We diagnose issues accurately, such as faulty outlets or overloaded circuits, ensuring long-term safety without risks from improper wiring. Homeowners avoid injury and costly fixes by leaving complex tasks like wind turbine installs or full rewires to trained experts.
