5 days agoDespite a professional experience for the quote, the employees that arrived to perform the work were so lazy that they cut corners to where the work performed was not up to code. Owner Jonatan Luna is aware as he decided to stop contacting me after I notified him of their illegal work. Edit: Added owner name's name, Jonatan Luna, to prove it's his company after he responded to my review claiming otherwise. -

5 days agoThe electrician that was sent out did a poor job. Messed up my walls when removing and reattaching light switches. They were laid improperly, and not flat. I had to have him fix that. The next time around I asked the owner to send someone else because this contractor didn't have knowledge and made mistakes/ruined walls. He sent the same person back. Then to replace a vent fan, he took it with him and said he would need to find one. That was 5 months ago and they no longer respond to messages. Response to owner: Sure, double checked it was your company, since this seems to be a common response to your negative reviews. Here is the screenshot of the correpondence with the owner which matches the phone number you have on this listing. -

6 months agoPLEASE HEAR ME DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR JONATHAN LUNA SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, TIME, AND MONEY. Jonathan was hired to do a complete home rewire. He is very unprofessional and comes off as lazy. The rewire had to be inspected by the city and I'm glad it was inspected by the city. HE IS DOING JINKY WORK. The permit was NOT in his name it was in another guy's name. HE USES ANOTHER Master Electrician for the permits. The city came out to inspect my home and ALWAYS found things wrong with the electrical install. It was so bad the city had to send the head department inspector. The inspector told Jonathan onsight he didn't know what he was doing! The inspector didn't lie one bit he didn't want to follow protocol and code and thought he was just going to run wires and connect boxes and go. I am a Retired Disabled Veteran and I'm so grateful the city held him accountable. His INCOMPETENCE to get things done is unbearable. He leaves All of the trash him and a kid he brought with him behind at the job site. When I made it clear he needed to clean all his trash from my house, he offered to send his wife to come clean it for him. Despicable! BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR JONATHAN LUNA OR ANY OF HIS AFFILIATES. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! -

1 year agoIf I could give zero stars I would this was by far the worst experience with a contractor ever. My appointment was between 9-10am. The assistant (Not an electrician showed up at my home at 11am). My husband took off work for this the assistant came in set up a ladder to get to our attic. We hired this company to install 2 fans one in each bathroom & to install an outside outlet. At noon the assistant tells my husband the electrician will be here in 15 min he was out doing an estimate knowing he had a prior appointment to be at my house. I come home from work at lunch 1pm still no electrician (2hrs an assistant had been at my home at this point) while I was home at lunch the assistant spent most of his time on his cell phone. I go back to work & after 2pm my husband sends me a text saying the electrician has finally showed up to the appointment that was scheduled between 9-10am. By 3:40 my husband is on the phone telling me one bathroom fan is complete. By 4:15 my husband is on my phone again telling me they can't do the 2nd bathroom fan unless the electrician cuts holes in the Sheetrock we will have to repair outside of what we are already being charged by him (because he can't see where he is walking thru the insulation. I say NO!! He finally gets the outside outlet installed after I arrive home at 5:30pm. Outside of the fact my husband babysat the assistant for several hours while he played on his phone & electrician decided doing an estimate was more important than a customer he had sold a job too. The hole to install the one fan was cut too big & he was going to leave it with a gap & leave me w/a sloppy job. I go to the master bathroom where I find they have knocked over a wax burner into my sink, down the cabinet & down a wall. Very sloppy work, unprofessional assistant that is not customer service oriented & the owner John unprofessional in promptness, lack of communication with a paying customer & beyond sloppy workmanship. HIRE A REAL PROFESSIONAL... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY... photo of wax dumped in my sink attached. I will be reporting this business to Better Business Bureau next. -

1 year agoI am a returning happy customer of this company. Jonathan has always been very professional and diligent in his work. He has been upfront and honest about what is needed and the costs. Jonathan has fixed our kitchen light switch, installed high height light fixtures and many other household fixings. We will continue to work with Jonathan. Also Blanca whom handled the scheduling, was very kind and informative. Thank you for all your hard work!

FAQ
How does Trinity Services and Electrical Contractors LLC determine pricing for electrical services like panel upgrades or outlet installations?
We base pricing on the scope of work, materials required, and time needed for jobs such as electrical switches, outlets, fixtures, panel upgrades, or full installs for remodels and home additions. Homeowners receive a detailed estimate after a walk-through where we discuss your needs and develop a plan with a clear time frame. This approach ensures transparency so you know the full cost upfront without surprises.
Are you licensed and insured for residential and commercial electrical work?
Trinity Services and Electrical Contractors LLC holds the necessary licensing and insurance required for electrical services in San Antonio. Our crew brings the tools and expertise for safe handling of residential and commercial jobs. Always verify credentials directly to confirm compliance with local regulations.
Does Trinity Services and Electrical Contractors LLC handle panel upgrades and full electrical installs for home remodels or additions?
We manage panel upgrades and complete electrical installations tailored for remodels or home additions, covering everything from switches and outlets to fixtures. Our team assesses the job site to ensure proper capacity and safety for your setup. This includes both residential and commercial projects to keep systems powered reliably.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduling electrical jobs?
We provide a specific time frame and estimate after listening to your requests during the initial walk-through. Jobs proceed as planned, with our crew arriving prepared, including necessary equipment like ladders for high-reaching tasks. Clear communication helps set realistic expectations for completion without unnecessary delays.
What cleanup and after-care does Trinity Services and Electrical Contractors LLC provide after electrical work?
We leave your home or business site clean and functional after completing installations or upgrades, handling debris from the job properly. Our professional approach ensures outlets, switches, and panels work correctly with no loose ends. Test all fixtures post-job to confirm everything operates as expected.
Why is hiring you safer and more effective than attempting DIY electrical repairs like wiring or panel work?
Professional electricians use specialized tools and follow codes to prevent hazards like shocks, fires, or system failures that DIY often causes. We listen attentively, answer questions, and customize solutions to fit your exact needs, ensuring lasting results. Attempting complex tasks without expertise risks voiding warranties or insurance coverage.
