1 year agoWhere do I begin. Here I am, trying to fix large leaks into my garage before winter comes because of the work this company did to my home. As I pull up the deck boards that they slammed in with ring shank nails instead of screws, barely even hitting the joists most of the time. I'm realizing that the boards they broke were replaced with Doug fir instead of redwood like what was down originally. I'm realizing that my roof leaks so bad because of the poor effort (or no effort) of re-waterproofing what they ripped up, to replace the OSB underneath. Im realizing that I'm collecting a ton of trash under the deck boards that they figured would never be seen again as well as tons of screws and nails all over the place that my toddler that just learned to walk undoubtedly has stepped on. I'm realizing that my whole entire deck was better off before this company touched any of it. This by far is the worst craftsmanship l've ever seen. This is the definition of get in, get out and collect a paycheck. And communicating with this company and trying to get them to right their wrongs is impossible. They must be woke because NOTHING is their fault. Would I recommend this company? This company shouldn't exist. It is a fact that this company will cause more damage to your home than good. I know this as I'm sitting on my half way torn apart deck that was "fixed" less than 2 years ago wondering how anyone can be ok with this piss poor quality of work. I'm blown away. Don't believe me? Wait for their response to this review, it won't be their fault. -

FAQ
How does Sacramento Valley Fencing determine pricing, and do you offer free estimates?
We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all fencing projects. Our pricing depends on factors like fence type (wood, chain-link, ranch, or ornamental), materials selected, project size, terrain conditions, and any additional features such as gates or decorative elements. We recommend contacting us directly at 916-407-3013 to discuss your specific needs and receive an accurate estimate tailored to your property.
Are you licensed and insured, and how can I verify your reputation?
Sacramento Valley Fencing is a second-generation fencing contractor with over 14 years of experience serving the Sacramento Valley. We accept background checks and work with both residential and commercial clients. You can review customer feedback and project photos to assess our work quality, and we encourage you to ask for references when requesting your estimate.
What types of fencing projects does Sacramento Valley Fencing handle?
We specialize in wood fencing, chain-link fencing, ranch and agricultural fencing, gate installation, and fence repairs including storm damage. Our team handles both residential and commercial properties, from new fence installations and replacements to custom gate setups and post-storm repairs. Whether you need a privacy fence, pet enclosure, or property boundary fence, we have the expertise to complete your project.
How long does a typical fence installation take, and when can you schedule the work?
Sacramento Valley Fencing works with you to find a timeline that fits your schedule. Project duration depends on fence length, material type, terrain, and whether you're replacing an existing fence or installing new. We recommend being available on the first day of installation so you can answer any initial questions, and we ask that you be present when the work is completed so we can walk through the job and address any concerns.
What does Sacramento Valley Fencing do with debris and old materials after installation?
We handle cleanup as part of our professional installation process. Our team removes old fence materials, picks up debris like nails and scraps from your yard, and leaves your property clean and ready to enjoy. This attention to detail ensures you're not left with additional cleanup work or unexpected costs after the project is finished.
Why should I hire a professional fence contractor instead of doing this myself?
Professional installation ensures proper post placement, correct material fastening, and structural integrity that DIY work often lacks. Our team has the tools, experience, and knowledge to handle challenging terrain, select appropriate materials for your climate, and complete the job efficiently without safety risks. A professionally installed fence also typically comes with workmanship warranty coverage and lasts significantly longer than amateur installations.
