13 years agoThe owners came out promptly and met with my husband. They told us the whole tree would need to be taken down (this was later verified by an arborists). My husband explained that we had recently spent $8,000.00 on landscaping in the backyard and we were very concerned that taking the tree down would cause major damage. They explained that they could not bring heavy equipment into the backyard so the men would climb the tree to get it down. We were also told that they would put mats down to cover and protect the lawn and the plants around the tree. We were told there might be damage to the plants around the tree when they ground the stump so we might want to remove plants before then. We were told it would take about 1 1/2 days to finish. Their quote was $2,000.00 which was reasonable. They came one Monday to do the job. They probably began work around 8 or after and were finished by 3:00 that afternoon. They took down part of our wood fence and brought in heavy equipment. They put down one small mat in the gateway. The end result looked like someone went joy riding in my backyard with heavy equipment. Part of the neighbors yard will need to me replaced also. We had a landscaper give an estimate to repair the yard. That amount was $710.00. We asked the owner to deduct this from the amount we owed. At first he seemed apologetic for the damaged caused. Later he accused my husband of trying to cheat him out of money owed. We paid the full amount and will pay for the lawn repair out of our own pocket. No, we would not recommend this company to anyone. -

15 years ago. The project went great. The owner and his crew came out on time. They looked at all of the trees needing to come down and planned how each one needed to come down. They brought plenty of equipment to take care of the job. After taking the trees down, they ground the stumps we had agreed on. What was so impressive was the clean up after the job. They hauled all of the trees and the debris off and raked the area. What a professional job they did. i will definitely recommend them to anyone needed a tree or trees removed.
