Yes, I recommend this pro I am so happy with my bathroom remodel! Alan did a a great job with organizing all the materials and was always in communication and able to get a hold of when I needed to check in on a part of the project. I now have my dream bathroom! I used Revive Works Remodeling in October 2020 to work on a 100-year-old residential property in Portland Oregon. Pre-purchase inspection had shown the house would benefit from some structural and cosmetic work, principally due to its age, and the normal deterioration any wood structure is subject to. Alan thought through his bid carefully, and gave me clear advice, telling me what could and could not-realistically-be accomplished. This was accompanied by a fixed bid in writing. Payment was made in three parts, the final payment being made only when all work had been fully completed to my satisfaction. We went over the bid by just $400, a choice I made to do some additional strengthening work in one area. Alan and his team always arrived promptly, usually at 9am, and worked until 5pm, Monday - Friday. They worked to keep the property as clean as possible, and I was impressed that they followed proper Oregon DEQ safety practices. The project took about three weeks to complete. I was able to see first-hand the work Alan's crew performed, and felt that without exception they were excellent craftsmen who did careful and precise work. Alan also took before and after photos of all the work completed. Overall, I would unhesitatingly recommend Revive Works for residential remodeling. Both as individuals and as a company, I found them knowledgeable, easy to work with and highly proficient. In a word, they were trustworthy, something which cannot be said of all companies operating in this field.

We used the ReviveWorks guys for a full kitchen renovation at our last house, and my wife and I were really happy with it so we decided to use them again for the back deck. The back "yard" really needed to be covered because it was uneven and full of boulders - and so these guys built up a full deck that covered the entire thing. They even made sure to have it exactly level with the interior flooring so it has a really smooth transition. Really impressed with their attention to detail. You can tell that Alan is very professional. Def recommend and have referred to a lot of friends.

VERY HAPPY WITH WHOLE EXPERIENCE! We initially just knew that we wanted to upgrade our kitchen but didn't have an end goal articulated. Alan from Revive Works worked with my husband and I to envision and design what we really wanted, and showed us how we could actually make the entire kitchen bigger! Some of the big-box contractors gave us quotes that seemed lower, but we realized that they were also incomplete quotes, and upon seeing how the Revive Works guys worked so orderly and clean, we knew we made the right choice. CRAFTSMANSHIP and ATTENTION TO DETAIL! Love the kitchen now - its our favorite room in the house. I've recommended these guys to everyone I know. (Wish I could post before and after pics here)

FAQ

Does Revive Works Remodeling offer free estimates for kitchen and bathroom remodels?

We provide free estimates after an initial consultation to assess your project scope, including materials and labor needs. Pricing depends on factors like project size, complexity, and any custom design elements for kitchen remodels or bathroom updates. This approach ensures you receive an accurate quote tailored to your home in Portland.

Are you licensed and insured for handyman and remodeling work?

Revive Works Remodeling carries full licensing and insurance to cover handyman repairs, electrical tasks, and full kitchen or bathroom remodels. Homeowners can verify our credentials through local Portland authorities before starting any project. This protects your property and ensures compliance with all safety standards during aging-in-place updates or whole home transformations.

Does Revive Works Remodeling handle complete bathroom remodels including vanities, bathtubs, and tiled showers?

We manage full bathroom remodels from design to installation, covering new vanities with modern sinks, bathtubs with subway tiles, and complete setups with toilets and showers. Our design-build process coordinates everything under one team for seamless results. Portland homeowners benefit from our experience with these specific updates seen in our project photos.

What is your typical timeline and scheduling process for home remodeling projects?

We discuss timelines during the initial consult, with small handyman fixes often completed in days and larger kitchen or bath remodels spanning weeks based on scope. Expect clear arrival windows and regular updates to minimize disruptions to your routine. Our communication keeps projects on track, as shown in past kitchen renovations and deck builds.

How does Revive Works Remodeling handle cleanup and debris removal after a project?

We remove all waste and debris from your property at the end of each workday and upon project completion, leaving your home clean and tidy. This includes hauling away old fixtures from bathroom remodels or kitchen demos. Homeowners appreciate returning to a space ready for immediate use without extra cleanup effort.

Why is hiring you for remodeling safer and better than doing DIY projects?

Our design-build method integrates expert planning with skilled execution, avoiding common DIY pitfalls like improper electrical wiring or structural issues in older Portland homes. We use professional tools and techniques for safer outcomes in kitchen islands, tiled showers, or aging-in-place modifications. This comprehensive approach saves time and prevents costly fixes compared to self-attempted transformations.
