1 year agoBen and his colleague took on our massive Deodara Cedar. With an emphasis on tree health and making it less susceptible to damage from wind/weather, Ben thinned it out and shaped the canopy to help the tree stay healthy and strong. Weather required rescheduling the original date selected for work and Ingrid was on top if it with great communication. Clean-up afterward was done really well. Plus, it was a strong value for the service provided. We strongly recommend Vista Tree Service. -

1 year agoBen has been our go-to arborist and tree specialist for several years now. The most recent job involved pruning of trees all through our property in West Linn, plus removing three dead hemlocks plus a dying maple very near our house. He and Ingrid helped us thru the permit process with the city, he and his crew handled the pruning on one day and the tree removal and cleanup on two additional days. All very high quality work, on time and in line with the bid. Highly recommend! -

3 years agoWe had to trim our large maple tree as it was covering my neighbor's plum tree. I didn't want to kill the decades old plum, so I decided it was time to get it trimmed. It was also infringing on my other neighbors' garage and sitting above the power lines of both neighbors. I did not want to cut it down as it gave us great shade on the south side of our house. Ben from Vista Tree Service of Oregon City scheduled a day to review the job with me and give me a quote. We are in NE Portland. He gave me the quote and a timeline of when he was available to do the job. I had gotten two other quotes. Ben was very knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed. He came in less expensive than the other quotes and gave me the confidence that we would do a great job. And he did. ... I would absolutely call Ben again for any -

Ben worked all morning in fairly awful weather not just to cut back our trees, but meticulously groom them to grow back in a stronger, healthier, and more beautiful shape. He took the time to explain exactly what he was doing with each tree, taking a professional long-term view toward matching what we needed with what was best for each tree. Vista offered a highly competitive price, maintained great communication, showed up on time, and did a fantastic job. Every box checked. When the time comes, we will definitely be having them back. -

7 years agoVista came out on short notice, grasped what I needed done (a complicated project), gave me a very accurate estimate, and then came back ON TIME and did superb job. They are extremely hardworking, honest, efficient and obviously very passionate about tree health. I would definitely have them back again. In fact I AM! After reviewing their work and cost, I decided to have them back for even bigger job! Great work guys!
