2 months agoWent to the Hamilton rd convenience center today after waiting a few weeks since Christmas because the place has been overflowing with trash and as soon as I pulled up I was greeted with a rude and disrespectful Martin Employee who immediately said that I had over 5 yards of stuff. Trash is on a trailer but I had it covered with a tarp so it didn't get soaked in the past few weeks since Christmas. Mostly boxes and a couch. I could easily have fit this in a pickup truck bed but the trailer was just easier. But as I was trying to explain this the employee called me a liar and had an attitude. I pay for the can at the house and to use the convenience centers. I use the convenience center maybe 5 times a year and I would go more but since Martin has come to Troup County the centers are a mess, they look terrible and all around do a terrible job. But I still have a trailer with trash and don't know what to do with it. -

2 months agoI work at a church in town and our trash was not picked up for 2 weeks we have a dumpster and it was overflowing on to the ground. My boss called several times and got no answer and then got a generic text msg saying they was sorry FINALLY! They picked it up yesterday after we all went home! DO BETTER Amwaste is awful that's y they swapped! I understand the holidays and all that but don't send A generic message saying you apologize and then still go a week without picking it up as far as I know we've never had an issue with you guys until the last two weeks so please do better thank you!! -

2 months agoThe prices are high for taking my own garbage to drop off. Heard county is $50 unlimited bags per year, $35 for seniors. Going from free open daily to very limited days and paying $10 for 8 kitchen bags is a bit too high. There should be senior discount of at least 25% off. Otherwise great customer service on the phone. -

3 months agoOur trash crew always do a great job. They are courteous, always mindful of where they put our can, and the office staff are always friendly. I may not have been happy with the change at first, but I am pleased with my service now.
