6 years agoYes, I recommend this pro. Working with JR was a simple, no nonsense and professional experience from start to finish. We wanted some kind of shade for our uncovered patio. JR came over, listened to what we were looking for, and came up with some options and a plan. JR's quote was right in line with, or less expensive than other quotes we had received. We ended up going with an approximately 30x12 cedar arbor. Once we settled on a day to get the arbor installed, JR and his crew came over on the scheduled day, and was on time. He and his crew were very professional and friendly, and they were very efficient. What I thought would be a multi day job was completed in one day. As for the results, the arbor is beautiful. It really does provide significant shade. It is as if we have a covered patio, but with the benefit of having air circulate more freely. We love our arbor and highly recommend JR for any arbor, deck, or other wood work job. He does excellent, professional work at a fair price. -

7 years agoYes, I recommend this pro. J.R. was very accommodating in scheduling a convenient time to meet and discuss what we wanted done. Our existing wooden deck was small and original to when the house was built. We wanted to replace it with a larger composite deck and J.R. was very helpful with showing us samples and answering our questions. Once he was able to get the approval to start construction from UC, his crew demolished the old deck, hauled the debris away, and constructed the new composite deck within two days. (They had to take a day off for the UC Inspector to approve the framing and footers). They are excellent craftsmen who turn out very high quality work. I would definitely use them again! -

7 years agoYes, I recommend this pro. JR responded promptly to my request for an estimate and was able to meet me at a convenient time. He gave me an itemized bid for the demo cost and prices for a couple of different options for the new deck, including the Trex. He also provided a sketch with dimensions and took care of getting the building permit. He kept me updated throughout the project and responded quickly to my questions. He and his crew are excellent craftsmen. They built a beautiful new deck on a super sturdy frame within about a week, including hauling away all the debris from the old deck. Very high quality work, reliable, and great communication.
