10 months agoAvoid Handyman Connection of Fort Collins at all costs or it may cost you time, stress and money. They didn't follow through on work promised, they didn't show up for appointments and did not contact me to reschedule when they didn't show up. I had to initiate 5 calls to them on separate occasions to schedule a time for them to finish an incomplete job and they did not show up for any of the new appointments. Finally, I contacted them on April 1, 2025 to sever ties with them so I could actually get the window fixed. They had not completed the job and it had been almost 6 months. They agreed to reimburse me some money for the work not done and even then, did not send me a check. Not an ethical business. Some excuses given to me throughout the debacle include the initial worker saying the bidder did not quote me the right amount of work it would take. They are selling the business and things are chaotic. They are having issues with getting employees. The people who scheduled multiple new appointments to complete the job did not do it correctly, but "now" they would come out. So, if you want to hire a handyman business that is bad at bidding jobs, is going through some chaos, does not have consistent employees and are bad at scheduling, then by all means use Handyman Connection of Fort Collins. Their other 1 star reviews largely say the same things about not showing up and ghosting people. I ended up hiring another company and they had the bid and work done within 5 days. They even had a supervisor come out and inspect the job afterwards. So glad I found another company that does what they say they will do. -

12 months agoCan't give a zero, would if I could. Complete lack of professional conduct all the way around. They would not refund anything for a job not completed. Too k our money and never finished at all !!! -

1 year agoWasted days waiting on this company to come out and they no showed twice. Upon scheduling you receive a confirmation and the day of you get a text message with updates on the arrival and your service representative. Don't let that fool you, it doesn't mean that you are scheduled with anyone. After they no showed, I called them and left messages for two days. When I finally got through to them, the guy who answered said, "yea you never got added to anyone's schedule and I was out for a couple of days and that's why nobody was answering the phone". I rebooked for the following Monday and they no showed again. Complete waste of time. -
