FAQ
How does Kwame Building Group, Inc. determine pricing for handyman work?
We provide custom quotes based on the specific type of work and complexity of your project. Our pricing approach accounts for both labor and materials, and we're transparent about what each component costs so you understand exactly where your money goes. We offer free estimates, which means you can get a detailed assessment of your project without any obligation before deciding to move forward.
Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?
Kwame Building Group, Inc. maintains the proper licensing and insurance coverage to protect both our team and your home during service work. This protects you from liability if unexpected issues occur, and it demonstrates our commitment to operating as a professional, accountable business. You can ask for proof of our credentials during your estimate consultation.
What types of handyman services does Kwame Building Group, Inc. handle?
We handle a range of handyman services including minor plumbing repairs, drywall patching, painting, furniture assembly, and other general home repairs. Given our background in construction management and project coordination since 1991, we bring a professional approach to even routine maintenance tasks. If you're unsure whether we handle your specific need, we encourage you to describe the work during your free estimate so we can confirm our ability to help.
How quickly can you schedule my project?
Kwame Building Group, Inc. works to accommodate your timeline based on current project load and the scope of your work. We recommend providing as much advance notice as possible so we can schedule you at a time that works for both parties. When you request an estimate, we'll discuss availability and give you realistic expectations for when we can complete your project.
What should I expect in terms of cleanup and site safety after Kwame Building Group, Inc. finishes the work?
We take responsibility for leaving your home clean and safe after completing the job. This includes removing debris, cleaning up work areas, and conducting a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything meets your expectations. A professional handyman service should restore your home to normal living conditions, not create additional work for you after we leave.
Why should I hire a professional handyman instead of doing the work myself?
Professional handymen bring expertise in diagnosing problems correctly, using proper techniques and safety protocols, and completing work efficiently without costly mistakes. DIY repairs often result in incomplete fixes or damage that costs more to correct later, whereas a trained professional gets it right the first time. Our construction management background means we approach each project methodically, ensuring quality workmanship and peace of mind that the job is done properly.
