13 years agoI contacted Home Solutions when they were working on the house next door, I asked for a business card. My garbage disposal started leaking. I assumed it needed to be replaced as it is 17 years old. I called K C Home Solutions, spoke with Nick Shepard. He sent a plumber out within a few hours with a new disposal. The repairman he sent said all it needed was one of the pipes tightened up, they were compression pipes he said. He left within a few minutes and told me I didn't need a disposal unit, and there was no charge. We are in our 80's and he could have easily installed the disposal and charged us for it plus labor. I have made an appointment for some repairs needed to our concrete where the it has a gap between the garage floor and the driveway. I feel confident I will have someone do the work that won't overcharge me.
