15 years agoThe roof leaked during heavy rain. The flashing wasn't installed properly. I need to write a threatening letter for Best Construcion Company to honor their warranty. They did come back and fix the faulty flashing. It damaged the dry wall of the garage ceiling. They came back and fixed the dry wall and painted it. -

15 years agoAs far as roofing services goes, the company did a fantastic job! Took them no more than three days to complete the entire job including cleanup. No surprises here because we did our research by interviewing their previous clienteles. All said the same good things about the company. Compared to other roofing estimates Best Quality had the most reasonable quote. We felt comfortable with their roofing job enough to hire them to repair our patio which wasn't leveled and was pooling water. It was a different crew that did the deck repair. Nevertheless, they did a good job. I can't comment on the pricing because we didn't have a comparison estimate. But the quality of the finished job speaks for itself. Finally, we hired Best Quality to install new gutters throughout house. It didn't go too well. First problem was they outsourced the gutter job to another company (Jesse's Gutter) . The job looked ok until we got hit with the storm. Only then did we find out that the gutters didn't function as we had hoped. It didn't catch water during heavy storm...and we discussed this with them from the start that we wanted the best material and quality installation to prevent these kinds of problems. The support brackets used were flimsy. During heavy downpour, the gutters sagged and creaked under the weight of the water. There were areas of leakage and oversplash. Anyway, we contactd Best Quality, who called Jesse's Gutter to come out and fix the problems. Yes, they made minor attempts at 'repairing' the leakage and installed additional splash guards. But ultimately did nothing to fix the sag and support problem. Which I'll probably have to do myself. Their comment was 'it doesn't rain this hard frequently in California'. Of course, it didn't help our confidence when Jesse's Gutter didn't show up on several occassions. For this, I can not recommend hiring them for gutter services! Because Best Quality chose to use Jesse Gutters for our gutter job, we do hold responsible for the overall quality of their ratings...hence the 'B' grade above. Overall, I can only recommend Best Quality based on the excellent work they did on our roof. I will continue to monitor and update their services as years go by.
