My Patio concrete slab had cracked in the 1995 earthquake and had gradually settled over the years. We wanted to tile the area but with the uneven slab (ranging from +1/4" to +7/8") we needed to get the slab leveled and stabilized. This was the first time that I had contemplated using a foam injection method for stabilization and leveling. Slabjack Geotechnical (Andrew) was professional, technically competent (I am an engineer) and exuded confidence (they have an impressive video display of a variety of successful projects) and most importantly - they have excellent reviews! Jamie came out and got the entire area (with it's multiple cracks) leveled! Kudos too to the owner Jerry, and Manager Ann, who were courteous, patient, and did not hustle me into making a hurried decision. Thank you to all of them.

We had our cement front porch sink over an inch and also had some of our driveway drop by 1/2"-3/4" in multiple places. We had people tripping on these areas. Some large cracks were also appearing across the driveway and the bottom of our porch steps. We called SlabJack Geotechnical come and evaluate and give a free estimate. Their website had great videos of their previous work. We hired them and they finished our project today. Justin and Thomas were professional and very easy to work with on this project. Their work was precise and so neat and tidy. Our front porch is now at the level of the threshold and all cracks were leveled, and caulked. We are so pleased with their work.

FAQ

How does SlabJack Geotechnical determine pricing for concrete raising projects?

We provide free estimates for all concrete raising and leveling projects, so you can understand the scope and cost before committing to any work. Pricing depends on factors like the size of the affected area, the severity of settlement, soil conditions, and which method we recommend-whether that's polyurethane foam injection, mudjacking, or another approach. During your estimate, our team will explain why we're recommending a specific solution and how it compares to full replacement, which typically costs significantly more.

Are you licensed and insured?

SlabJack Geotechnical maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to perform concrete raising, soil stabilization, and related services in Washington. We stand behind our work with written warranties on completed projects, and our team has been serving the East Wenatchee area since 2011 with a track record of professional, quality workmanship.

Does SlabJack Geotechnical handle both concrete raising and crack repair?

Yes, we handle the full range of concrete issues. Our services include concrete raising and leveling for sunken slabs, crack filling and caulking, joint caulking, concrete grinding and resurfacing, plus soil and seawall stabilization. Whether your driveway has settled, your patio has cracked, or you're dealing with foundation issues, we can assess the problem and recommend the right solution for your situation.

How long does the concrete raising process take, and when can I use the surface again?

SlabJack Geotechnical typically completes concrete raising in a single day visit, depending on the size and complexity of the project. The polyurethane foam we use cures in 15 to 30 minutes, which means you can often use your concrete surface the same day. We'll let you know the exact timeline during your estimate and explain any precautions to take immediately after the work is finished.

What happens to the holes drilled during SlabJack Geotechnical's concrete raising process?

We drill small 5/8-inch diameter holes in strategic locations to inject the lifting material beneath your concrete. Once the slab is raised to the correct level, we patch these holes with cement that blends in with your existing surface. After the patches cure, the work is nearly invisible-most homeowners are surprised how clean the finished result looks.

Why is professional concrete raising better than trying to fix it myself?

Concrete raising requires specialized equipment, precise technique, and understanding of soil conditions and structural issues that go beyond typical DIY capability. Improper lifting can cause additional cracking, uneven surfaces, or incomplete repairs that create new problems. Our certified technicians have the training and commercial-grade equipment to lift concrete safely, ensure proper drainage, and address the underlying causes of settlement so your fix lasts.
