YELP has this business rated at 3.0 and that seems more appropriate. Just over a year ago, October 2024, we had a Daikin split unit installed in our 250 sq foot space at a cost of over $11,000. I have not reviewed sooner because I don't like writing negative reviews because I know it can hurt a business but I also believe we have a responsibility to other consumers to share our experiences so they can make informed decisions. I was assured that this unit would IMPRESS but all it has done is disappoint. It does not heat or cool this VERY small space. Epic was called and came out twice only to tell me that it was working properly. We are faced with using space heaters, fans and a portable AC to find any relief from the cold and heat in the winter and summer, respectively. I just find it disappointing that more locally owned businesses don't stand behind their work or their product. Are we a society that focuses on greed and not quality? My message to those consumers who might be considering EPIC, would be to keep on looking, you'll thank me later.

Kelvin and Ray were both completely professional, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. They had to perform extensive work on our jerry rigged & outdated 1974 house. Almost everything was a fire safety and every outlet and switches needed repaired. While maintaining a positive attitude towards many setbacks, they still manage to completed it in a timely manner, just in time to save Thanksgiving. I had no doubts about their expertise. Both my husband and I can sleep better through the night knowing our 2 small children are safe, secure, and warm with their new alcove heaters and tamper resistant outlets. Thank you so much, Epic, for having two such capable electricians.

Just really want to thank you all for coming clear to Coeur d'Alene to help us with heating and electric. They drove all the way out here THREE times to fix things. Always Super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The owner himself even came out and had a nice conversation with my husband. Amazing company! Thank you, Tieson ( owner) Byson, and Vashay AND the super nice receptionist who had so much patience with us. THANK YOU!! We will always call you if we need anything done in the future. Epic went above and beyond to help us with a furnance replacement. Epic came in with the best quote, They started the job right away, and stayed late to finish it the same day. All the staff was excellent, from the person taking the calls to the techs that did the bid and did the work. They have made me a customer for life and I will be recommending to friends and family. Their service truly is Epic

FAQ

Does Epic Electric, Heating, Cooling & Plumbing offer free estimates or how is pricing determined?

We provide upfront pricing discussions over the phone, such as estimating around $200 for certain electrical services that include a safety inspection. Final costs depend on the scope of work, like panel upgrades or wiring installations, and we deliver custom quotes after assessing your project. Homeowners benefit from this approach as it avoids surprises and aligns with the job's complexity.

Are you licensed and insured?

Epic Electric, Heating, Cooling & Plumbing employs licensed technicians for electrician, gasfitter, HVAC contractor, and plumber services. Our team carries proper licensing to handle residential electrical systems, gas fittings, heating and cooling installations, and plumbing repairs safely. Insurance protects both your property and our work throughout every project.

Does Epic Electric, Heating, Cooling & Plumbing handle panel upgrades, water heater repairs, HVAC maintenance, and ceiling fan installations?

We manage the full scope of residential projects including panel upgrades from outdated systems like 100-amp Federal Pacific, water heater repairs addressing internal corrosion, HVAC unit maintenance with gauges, and ceiling fan installations. Our services also cover new wiring, electrical outlets, copper plumbing pipes, and valves. These tasks require specialized skills to ensure code compliance and functionality.

What is your typical timeline and arrival window?

We respond quickly to schedule services, often the next day even for smaller jobs, and complete projects like panel upgrades in one day plus the next morning if needed. Technicians arrive on time with prepared tools and materials for efficient work. This minimizes disruption to your routine while meeting deadlines for Spokane-area homes.

Does Epic Electric, Heating, Cooling & Plumbing clean up after the job and handle debris?

We clean up thoroughly after completing work, leaving your home without debris from electrical, plumbing, or HVAC tasks. Technicians use protective measures during installations or repairs to keep areas tidy. Proper debris removal ensures your space is ready for immediate use post-service.

Why is it safer to hire you instead of attempting DIY electrical, plumbing, or HVAC fixes?

Professional handling prevents risks like those from outdated Federal Pacific panels, which are dangerous without expert replacement. Our licensed technicians follow codes for lightning protection, gas fittings, and system upgrades that DIY lacks in tools and knowledge. Homeowners avoid hazards such as electrical fires, water damage, or inefficient HVAC operation by choosing trained pros.
