9 years agoGBT Construction Mr. Mark Allen is the owner of this company. The wife and I decided to expand our deck. I called and asked Mark to come for an estimate of the project. He arrived when he said he would on time and looked the situation over. Much to my surprise after inspection of the old smaller deck he noticed that it was unsafe and should be reinforced for safety (and Code compliance),for expansion because it was shaky. I was pleased with his knowledge and appreciated him bringing this to my attention. My wife and I accepted his advice to demolish down to the frame and awarded him the job. He and a helper arrived on time to start the deconstruction of my old deck and the project was under way. His worker, Tim did an excellent job of bringing the deck down to the frame which he had said was reusable. The following day A carpenter, Ken showed up and started the construction. When they returned they continued and finished the deck. I am glad We hired Mark for the job. Ken and Tim worked steady to repair and extended our new deck to our satisfaction. I complement these two. It looks great, very sturdy and a nice addition to our home. I must say Mark's price was very reasonable, his coordinating coordinating with me both on the phone and in person, dropping by now and again to spend time with his men was admirable. That shows me a good rapport with his employees and also cares for the progress of his commitment to his customers. We thank all involved for such a great job and I highly recommend Mark's company to all, and I will call him when I need a contractor in the future. Thanks Mark, Ken and Tim.
