1 year agoGreat company, great communication , very knowledgeable, great pricing, excellent work Reached out to them for boiler furnace issue and they came out and diagnosed and fixed problem for 3 times less than another big company that preys on older customers with contract promises and inexperienced workers -

16 years agoThis company installed our Rheem heating/air unit three years ago. We've had problems with the breaker switching off when we switch from heat to air. Last week it wouldn't start when we manually switched the breaker. $294 later the repairman said "Found breaker twisted in place - wires too short tripping at 53 amps on 70 amp breaker. I replaced breaker, extended wires. No one has touched Pollock's work in three years - so it had to have been a faulty initial installation. We feel we are paying for a problem Pollock initiated. Won't be using them again!

FAQ
How does Pollock HVAC & Electrical determine pricing for HVAC and electrical work?
We provide custom quotes based on the specific scope of your job, which may include factors like system size, complexity of the repair, and any parts needed. Since every home and situation is different, we recommend scheduling a service visit so our team can assess the work firsthand and give you an accurate estimate. Many customers find that our straightforward pricing approach saves them money compared to other contractors, especially on diagnostic and rewiring jobs.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical and HVAC work?
Pollock HVAC & Electrical maintains the proper licensing and insurance required to perform electrical and HVAC services safely and legally. This protects both you and our team during the work. When you hire a licensed and insured contractor, you're ensuring the job meets local building codes and that any issues are covered if something goes wrong.
Can Pollock HVAC & Electrical handle same-day AC and furnace repairs?
Yes, we specialize in same-day service for AC and furnace issues, which is especially valuable when your system stops working unexpectedly. Our team can diagnose problems quickly and often complete repairs the same day you call. We also handle more complex jobs like rewiring electrical issues that affect your HVAC system, such as breaker problems when switching between heat and cooling modes.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times?
Pollock HVAC & Electrical prioritizes quick response times, particularly for urgent heating and cooling issues. When you contact us, we'll work with you to find a convenient appointment window and communicate our arrival timeframe. Our goal is to minimize disruption to your home while ensuring the work gets done efficiently and correctly.
Does Pollock HVAC & Electrical clean up after completing work?
We take pride in leaving your home in good condition after we finish. Our team handles debris and waste responsibly as part of our service. Whether we're rewiring your electrical panel, installing ductwork, or repairing your furnace, we make sure the work area is clean and safe before we leave.
Why shouldn't I attempt HVAC or electrical repairs myself?
HVAC and electrical work involve safety hazards and building codes that require professional expertise. Improper refrigerant handling, incorrect wiring, or faulty electrical connections can damage your equipment, create fire risks, or void manufacturer warranties. A professional inspection also catches hidden problems that DIY troubleshooting might miss, saving you money on bigger repairs down the road.
